I use Apple AirPods Max as a daily driver during work, and they are comfortable for me as the weight is well distributed and I do not find them heavy at all.

I believe Apple AirPods Pro have great sound quality and are great for listening sessions on the go.

I use my Bose QC35 mostly for cancelling noise and focusing while working, and comfort is the main factor along with the NC capability. When I tried the Ultra did not find it as comfortable as my QC35.

The pinna collects and directs sound waves into the ear canal, helps us localize sounds, and amplifies certain frequencies. I believe the iems problem is that we are bypassing this part of the hearing, so the listening experience will not be as good.

I did. I registered the headphones on Focal website and received a proof for 2 years warranty right away. I used my credit card with extended warranty for an additional 1 year warranty. So I think I am covered at least for the first 3 years.
