The Y-Split Thread
I've used these Qable y-splitters and you're correct, it's slightly challenging to cross solder and fit all the cables into the plastic unit. So much so that I had to superglue it permanently shut... but it has lasted for 8+ years now and it's still my go-to cable.- mb3k

Chum I/O Buffered Switchbox
I've been working on an upgrade to the SOCRAM switchbox and decided on a relay-based design. With a ton of JISBOS sitting around I decided to implement them into the switchbox! I call it the Chum I/O Buffered Switchbox. Here's the lowdown on the features: - Unbalanced 5 source connections...- mb3k

Split-Supply Sanity Check
I'll be integrating the power supply into a PCB that I'm making. The Jaycars kit gives me an idea of the layout and such for the PSU part of it. More on the actual board purpose later...- mb3k

Split-Supply Sanity Check
Hey guys, I require a +/-15V and a +5V supply and I drafted a circuit but I need some sanity checks before I implement it. The power supply is similar to the SOHA/SOHAII supply except for the full wave rectifier (D5 & D6 in my schematic) is pointing in different directions compared to the SOHA...- mb3k

Do resistors make a difference in audio quality?
Also, IIRC aren't the Vishay/Dale's rated higher than they're stated on the package? ie. a 1/4W Vishay/Dale RN can be placed in a 1/2W position with no worries.- mb3k

...now for the dreaded case work Here she is naked Mundorf ZN bypassers for Blackgate Standards. I know many will disagree with that combo but it sounds very very nice with 12AE6A's (12FK6's sounded a lot better on the classic Millett)- mb3k
