Everytime I try to use EQ for one of my In Ears I just realize that the DTE500 is super close to my preferred tuning. No other set is that close to it. I still might try out the DTE900 somewhere down the line. Not sure if I need one. I would rather wait for a DTE1000.

RU6 is such a sensitive little buddy that different cables have different noise profiles. Even passive usb filtering like AudioQuest FMJ helps to make it sound better.

Grabbed myself some TRN T medium tips and made reverse tips out of them. They fit perfectly on my Zero 1 and 2. The sound is deep, full and bassy.

I have no pressure build up at all even with an in ear like the DTE500. It seems that I simply have to squeeze my jaw a little so the seal is less then perfect for a moment and the pressure is gone.

NiceHCK DragonScale cable with the H570 latex tips on the SR5 are a good combination. It is like an affordable endgame if you put your money into the source gear instead of chasing for a better IEM.

I did not read much of this thread but I am listening to a tube amp right now while using EQ. The tubes gives the music some harmonic distortion and more authority + greater loudness.

That is wonderful to hear. I don't think I need any IEM that is not made by Sound Rhyme at this point. They're exactly how I want an IEM to be and they can be EQ'd so well. The SR5 can be equalized so well it is just wonderful.

Finally someone says it. That's how these devices sounded to me. Be it the Topping DACs or the Topping amps. They all had really artificial treble with a glare in the sound. The resolution didnt impressed me at all.
