The Meze Empyrean is too warm for me but yes it is very comfortable. I would recommend Sony MDR-Z1R if you want more bass (but it is a closed back). My favorite so far is Fostex TH-909, compared to HD800S it is warmer and slightly more bass, less soundstage than 800S, less bass than MDR-Z1R.

I like Amazon Music and I do feel the sound quality is slightly better than Apple Music although the Apple Music UI (on iOS) is more friendly and easier to use. The problem with Amazon Music is that the music stops randomly when using AirPlay.

I own a few people called the best / TOTL headphones, Meze Empyrean, D8000 Pro HD800S and some STAXs, but you know what, I always come back to Fostex TH-909, not for its soundstage, detail or bass, the TH-909 certainly isn't the "best" but it is more enjoyable when listening.
