Yep. My Aten 2s have colored nozzle upper stage filters and colored lower stage dampers. My EDP aces have colored upper stage filters and silver/grey lower stage dampers, which looks like how the EDP Ace ships. So I think I got everything, and I am familiar with IMR filtering. But whwn people...

So are you using dampers from other IMR IEMs? I have the Aten2 with the colored dampers but the Ace just has grey dampers. Am I missing something? Sorry, I posted this question earlier. In the meantime, two thumbs up for the Aces.

So the EDP Ace dampers aren’t colored like other IMR dampers (I have the Aten 2). Did I miss something about the different dampers?

I’m just checking in…my tracking number is still dead. It sounds like more and more people are actually getting their Aces, which is awesome. But is anyone else still in the same no-status boat with their tracking number? Update: Never mind. My tracking is live. Now more waiting... :)

So how drivable are the Aces? Can you drive them with a dongle/phone or do you need a high-powered DAP?

Between shipping delays, dodgy communication, stellar initial reviews, Bob’s magic vs his business practices, and to a large extent the enigma that is IMR…there’s a lot of interest, especially now there seems to be at least some light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

I noticed the same thing! I’m sure the pace will pick up on Monday once people start obsessing over their Royal Mail tracking numbers again.

What's wrong with Beats knock-offs? :) Seriously, though, I appreciate you sharing your impressions. Yeah, they increase the anticipation factor, but in a very good way.

I’m with @ChrisOc. I’m not sure anyone who has their Ace has been insensitive to those of us (which sounds like it’s the vast majority of Ace buyers) who are still on the waiting train. I personally feel better knowing actual product is shipping and that it’s worth the wait.

Still no Ace tracking update to the US. Sigh

Do any of you who have your shipping notification for the EDP Ace know where you were on the list? Are they shipping earliest orders first? I don’t have a notification yet even though I’ve been compulsively clicking refresh for 24 hours now. Sigh.
