Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone
Hmm, I love it then hahahahaahah specially when using KT88 and ultralineal mode with HA-6A cuz it tightens the bass a lot and makes it super impactful- joseG86

There you go, One of them "transforms" D8KP into D8K, I made this comparing both FR and adjusting accordingly, play with the bass as you please and adjust preamp if you raise bass The other one is the one I used to use, kinda basshead one and less bright. Reduce bass if too much and adjust...- joseG86

I swear I felt big """bit bloated/boomy""" bass with the F pads, I will try again tho. G pads are amazing indeed, better than H to me at least You're welcome my friend, I'm sure when you replace them a few more times you will get 100% the trick out of it ^^ The sewing line makes sense, it has...- joseG86

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone
Hi there sir, I could record a video doing it, extremely simple, you just follow the metal guides right below the inputs and rotate gently so they just get in place by themselves ^^ If you get H pads at a nice price I think it's worth trying them, in fact I think I'll keep mine and give them...- joseG86

Yup whatever works for you it's gonna be the best and always knowing that you can switch the pads at anytime plus having the Susvara it will only make the experience better I am genuinely interested in the x8000 since the name and prototype's pic was published over here a while ago...- joseG86

Absolutely, I could live with D8KP using my own EQ based on D8K's FR but at the price I got the OG it was a no brainer. And money has no meaning if you don't use it to enjoy what you love the most There is never anything negative about this hobby, it's what I like the most- joseG86

Yo Neph, It takes 2 minutes to replace the pads when you learn how to remove them and you have 2 sound profiles for an extra 100€ :P Totally worth it- joseG86

Yup I have D8KP and D8K and I've tried D8KP with F and G pads and D8K with F, H and G pads For me the clear winner is D8K with G pads with the ability to have something closer to D8KP using H pads and a darker headphone with a super big bass using F pads haha- joseG86

I don't like the sound out of em with D8K, found em lacking the bass they are famous for and kinda as 'bright' as the D8KP. Comfort wise, the best pads 101% I didn't even waste time trying them with D8KP but of course that's me!- joseG86

Pfff I am sorry about it I will edit, D8000 Pro with F pads have just a touch more bass than D8KP with original G pads but NOT more than OG's D8K at all hahahah Apologize about it, I trust my ears but I'm not crazy to say such thing!!- joseG86

D8000 with G-Pads is the best sound I've experienced without any EQ in any headphone I've owned so far. D8000 Pro with F pads has a touch more bass than with stock's G pads and less brightness but D8K is far superior with the G-Pads I am gonna sell the H Pads in Europe, they have less than 5...- joseG86

Denafrips 'Pontus' R2R ladder DAC - close up view
My honest opinion: Keep it on 2 weeks 24/7 playing music, I had EXACTLY the same experience with it being super aggressive sounding and within 2 weeks it became my endgame DAC and at $1100 it is simply a steal (NOS/OS slow 1.0) Good luck ^^- joseG86

Audio-GD DI-20
I have no idea what exactly happened but I'm super happy about you getting your sound back Couple days ago I had to restart my DI20 because Windows would not play anything and yet the Amanero was showing, this does not concern me at all as I'm so very used to have all kind of problems but I'll...- joseG86

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone
I cannot say sibilant because it was a dramatic change to my ears, been abusing D8K since I received them and swapping the pads was like getting the Pro's again I've been 4 hours with them already and they aren't sibilant but I'm getting more detail than with F pads and my first impression was...- joseG86

My ears are too delicate for sibilances, I prefer dark sounding while keeping detail but I'm experiencing a new sound in less than 24h so I need to adapt first before any serious judgments I like it a lot so far and it takes 3 minutes to replace the pads ^^- joseG86

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone
I just installed H pads and instantly feel it less dark sounding than w F pads, bass quality and quantity still there (V281) At the edge of sibilance with H pads to my ears, need to try G asap and also with HA-6A I think H pads would not really suit Pro at all.- joseG86
