Not even for the McRib? Now that is BBQ done right!! Kidding...but I do love to eat them for some reason. I'm not even sure it's "real" meat. Could be mouse? rat? squirrel? donkey? a combination?- emorrison33

I always thought the consensus was that the song was about Mick Jagger. And he even sings background vocals on the song.- emorrison33

Too cloudy to view anything where I am in NJ. I saw it briefly (with my eclipse glasses on of course!) when the cloud cover thinned a little. Hope you all are having a better view where you are! EDIT to add: Disappointed Qobuz didn't have a solar eclipse playlist. But I listened to Floyd -...- emorrison33

Schiit Freya Impressions and Tube Rolling Thread
I have a Freya N. Been buying some tubes (like the Telefunken E88CC-TK) and a few that were suggested to me. There is some discussion going on at the main Schiit thread about heater currents. Is there any disadvantage to running, say 6922's with the 300mA current, over the 6N1P 600mA current...- emorrison33

I should try this! One of my cats (Noah) has a fetish for glue/sticky stuff. He chews my painter's tape marking my speaker location on the hard wood floor. We have to secure the mail because he likes the envelopes.- emorrison33

Great! I'm ok now with my L'OR Barista espresso machine and adding a little sugar before brewing a pod. Wasn't concerned before either, but just sharing an "interesting" article I read a few months ago.- emorrison33

This is the "new" thing around Philly now. Cheesesteak on a garlic bread roll. Several of the pizza type places near me in South Jersey are doing it. I haven't been to the big cheesesteaks places (Pat's, Geno's, Jim's) in awhile, so not sure of they are doing this as well.- emorrison33

I read somewhere that espresso is supposed to be drunk within 5 minutes, sipping the whole time. Black...no sugar or cream. I think the article said that's how real Italians drink thier espresso.- emorrison33

I was wondering about that....gravity. That's why I thought the turntable wasn't "real". I've seen the turntables with the arm hanging down, and that I could wrap my head around.- emorrison33

Is that a Bob's Furniture sofa? The one I have looks extremely similar, but with 3 "seats". Microfiber type of material. Holds up really well with the dogs in my home. The sofa my wife bought (different brand and material) has little rips all over the place that I need to patch.- emorrison33
