SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
One thing I noticed (and like) about Sony's products is that they barely get any 'full review' from Youtube reviewers, while they receive much love from Head-fi community. Not sure if it is marketing related or not but surely they went under the radar to many people due to very few youtube...- tranduyquockhanh

Sony XBA-A3 first impressions - The "open-back" floorshaker
Mine is N3BP and it came with a balanced 4.4 cable. Cmiiw I think BP stands for balanced cable, AP is 3.5mm cable. I still hold the N3 at very high regard in terms of tonality. One of the more correct sounding IEMs I have tried. -

Congrats! Hope you enjoy your gold brick as much as I do. I opted for a clear silicone case. I need to see the gold chassis to boost the sound quality by 100% gotta love the placebo- tranduyquockhanh

FWIW today I found disabling USB debugging significantly reduces latency in usb dac mode. It's low enough for video watching but still not good enough for gaming unfortunately.- tranduyquockhanh

SONY IER-Z1R
I just found this Foamax comparison graph, even though its for N5005 but you can expect a somewhat similar effect on Z1R (pretty much aligned to what I hear - tame the treble a bit and clean up the low end) Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJaPDpD2baA- tranduyquockhanh

SONY IER-Z1R
I have tried quite a few tips, including Final E, Sony Ep11, entire Sedna series (except xelastic 2), spinfit W1 + CP?? (I don't rmb the number), JVC, Radius Deep mount series, also the stock tips coming from my other sets in my sig and a few others that I can't recall the name...- tranduyquockhanh

SONY IER-Z1R
I have found new favorite tips for Z1R. It's the new Azla Foamax tips. Super comfortable, seal well, has earwax protection, better separation and a tad 'cleaner' bass and treble than stock silicone tips. Only downside I can think of is it tends to round off the edginess on notes that it makes...- tranduyquockhanh

SONY IER-Z1R
Let me hop on the Z1R train :relaxed: I have owned it for about 2 weeks and got used to the fitment. After trying tons of tips I came back to using stock silicone tips; while it doesn't have the most isolation but has the best sound to my ears. Might write a full review for this IEM soon if I...- tranduyquockhanh

Great headphone sound? It’s in the CAN! iFi audio ZEN CAN!
I love this amp. Got chance to a/b demo it with pro iCan, they are indeed very similar. It's like the lite version of the iCan without compromising sound quality. I would have bought the zen dac to pair with this if it was like the signature version. Sadly they are not quite on the same track...- tranduyquockhanh

Sony MDR-1AM2 - Impressions Thread
FYI, Crinacle has updated 1AM2 measurements in his new revision of headphones graph (https://crinacle.com/graphs/headphones/graphtool/) . Red = 1AM2. Yellow = K371. Grey = Harman target response curve. Feel free to interpret the graph yourself. IMO they sound sweet and clear with decent...- tranduyquockhanh

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
How would you compare T1.2 and DT1990 ? In my location I can get used T1.2 for roughly the same price as DT1990.- tranduyquockhanh

Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO - Beyer's open-back mastering headphone
G'day everyone, I have got the Sundara for quite some time. They are good cans. Here's the thing: People tends to praise them for being the most detailed headphones in under $500 range, but I don't find them detailed at all. Their treble is messy, with unorthodox resonances in 5k-9khz range...- tranduyquockhanh
