Yeah the bass is the star of the show but by no means are the mids and treble overshadowed. I love DDs but when Sonion BA and ESTs are really well implemented, it really hits the spot.

Same here, credit to Fiio, I’m still impressed with mine. Battery life could be better but the sound quality still superb. Hopefully gets an android update and prolong its use even more.

No subwoofer not essential, the bass will surprise you coming from such a small speaker. Really well built too, you can tell it’s durable. There’s also an app with simple 10 band EQ.

They look so good! I think that’s what’s so appealing of EST50 to most people, exceptional bass yet it doesn’t hinder the rest of the spectrum. Quite versatile in genres. Can hype me up but also superb to relax too. Also I find it a good match with the majority of my ear tips.
