Onkyo A800 and H900M full-size headphones - shipping March 2016
Does anyone happen to know what the wiring of the cable is? I've not been able to find any details about it online, but I've heard that it's something similar to the LCD-1 (though I've yet to receive confirmation of that)- MightBeAlon

Contact Full Compass in the US, or SCV Distribution in the UK. Or for a cheap way to deal with it, use a Beyerdynamic cushion- MightBeAlon

[FiiO M6] Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player,Embracing A Wireless Future
Yeah, the NX1s is a super affordable device, and if memory serves it's just about the right size to strap to the back of an M6. I'll have to look up the dimensions again to confirm. Though if you can afford the Hip-DAC, I think that would likely be a better (and more versatile) option tbh. A...- MightBeAlon

[FiiO M6] Portable High-Resolution Lossless Music Player,Embracing A Wireless Future
If I recall correctly, the NX1S was a fairly competent pocket-size amplifier. See it on Amazon fairly regularly for £30- MightBeAlon

The Stax Thread III
I picked up a pair of STAX SR-40 electret headphones a few years ago out of curiosity, and I couldn't get the left channel working. Is it more likely that the driver has lost it's charge, or that the adapter/energiser has gone bad? (pic not mine, but this is the right model)- MightBeAlon

about Volume on Sp2000 using Solaris SE
Ifi make two versions of IEMatch (3.5mm and 2.5mm). If you're using a 2.5mm balanced output you'll need to make sure you pick up the IEMatch2.5 rather than the "normal" IEMatch- MightBeAlon

DIY TH-X00 Removable Cable Mod Guide (MMCX Connectors)
Nice job! My only concern is using MMCX connectors - I've never had much luck with them on full-size headphones. Was there not enough space to use 2.5mm connectors?- MightBeAlon

Headphone Recommendation
I'm a fan of the Alpha Dogs by MrSpeaker - now, they're still around $500 on the used market, but if you're down for a bit of DIY I'd suggest following Dan Clark's guide- link to that on Head-Fi. Building the Open Alpha is a fun endeavour, and you can build your own for under $300. Some of the...- MightBeAlon

What is the best method to get digital audio from your PC to your DAC
Not specific to the Holo May, but I've had good experience when using optical over USB. To be fair, the USB cables in my specific setup have to run through an absolute rats-nest of power cables. Optical also has the added bonus of isolating your components from each-other Edit: Just looked up...- MightBeAlon

MOJO Users! How are you mobile with your Mojo?
Firstly I tend to use a dedicated DAP velcro'd to my Mojo, rather than my phone. On the rare occasion that I brave the world with what is definitely not a bomb, I slip the entire assembly into a grey velour pouch (similar to this) to stop things snagging in my pocket.- MightBeAlon

Looking for 3.5 mm headset & microphone A/B switchbox
I saw those too while I was hunting for my solution, but figured $27 for a switch box was a bit too much. The DIY option can be done for under $14, and most of that cost is the switch ^^; Could probably do it cheaper too if you were willing to wait for parts from China. I ordered all my stuff... -
