Cayin N7: A Voyager of Unexplored Frontier

Yes, the difference is truly notable in some areas, including the dimensions of the stage, the stratification, the depth, the details are much more evident also due to the greater and evident separation between the instrument and the air between them. overall it appears to be more refined in...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

I'm glad you like the Ravens! A little surprised though at how often the wm1z is mentioned lately... I had the chance a few years ago to listen to it and compare it with the Cowon PL... maybe I missed something but in the end I chose the brand Korean because in different areas it was better and...

The Velvets are very good on many IEMs but I find the synergy with Raven excellent as long as it seals well with your ear, I'm also waiting for the Aet07s

In fact Spinfit w1 and corier give a somewhat relaxed sound but have the advantage of a little more brilliance and detail in the highs... I have more fun with Dunu and especially with Velvet Divinus which I highly recommend for now, the best ever... I'll see about getting the AET07s...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

I have tried different eartips, some work better than others and many are better than the originals... in order my favorites Velvet Divinus, S&S Dunu, Pentacon Coreir and Spinfit W1, the first 2 give me more definition in the bass and midrange thickness with more depth and in general a more...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

I find that the coureir improves some things, greater separation and extension of the highs which also become brighter, the bass does not seem to get worse but the subbass becomes more attenuated.. To my ear, the Velvets maintain more balance between frequencies and seem to have greater...

In fact, too little...it's too much of a leap in the dark to spend this kind of money...I think I'll continue to use original or low-cost cables...I'll spend that money on something else...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

Hi everyone, I tried 2 low cost cables, one sounded worse than the original and the other a Kbear st16 with Occ silver plated core it has no difference with the original it's just much softer for only 30 euros.. I'm still very reluctant and doubtful that there really is a big change in the sound...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

Hello everyone, I'm continuing my hearing experience with the Raven.. it seems to have been refined much more... all the frequencies now seem more balanced, for a long time I found it brilliant at the limits of my standards... now much better... the three-dimensionality and cohesion has also...

I'm still in the process of running in... really, the more time passes, the more I realize that the tips and insertions at various angles change the sound... a suggestion if you have the chance, try the Velvet Divinus... in my case they sound much clearer , greater stage and better dynamic...

    TGXEAR discussion thread.

Thanks for the impressions! I wanted to ask which of the 2 has greater sub-bass and weight of the notes in the mid-bass, and which second gives more the idea of oleography or depth? Maybe none of the 2 or other earbuds from your experience..👍

Hi, in your experience the trisilver cable you have doesn't improve the sound compared to the original one? I was about to take one...but I don't know which one, not without rejection and I didn't want to faint...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

I, however, am still not completely satisfied...I expected more especially in some areas such as image and stage...and just a little more than my $900 Szalayi oriolus...and maybe not even more. . excellent detail and separation but they don't give me the excitement I expected.. I'll let it burn...

    New Cowon Plenue L

Well, good to know have you ever tried to use parametric eq, the best ever tried on any device, plus BBE (Jeteffect 7) the only actually working DPS ever seen..? The great strength of the Cowon in the past was due to this extraordinary implementation, without using it its potential is reduced by...

    New Cowon Plenue L

Really? What do you mean by better sound, did you do it? I also thought about sending it to Npaudio but I was afraid that I would no longer have the analogue house sound of Cowon... I'm not interested in having just a little more detail if it loses everything else...

Cayin N7: A Voyager of Unexplored Frontier

Welcome!..you'll see, give it time, you'll find it surprising for timbre and stage..I also use the hiby app to give a minimum of eq if needed.. for an IMR user like you it will be fun..

But I don't doubt that you actually felt that way, true that it might not be my cup of tea, what makes me think about these comparisons in general is the time with the necessary running-in and the tests in general that could influence enormously on what we listen to and make us completely change...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

Allow me if I have any doubts... I already don't believe the fact that the DD bass from EE, therefore of quality, is inferior to a BA bass even if I see it... then I can't understand how you can feel an iem for a few minutes/hours and already understand how it feels in its entirety.. let me...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Hi everyone, I don't know whether to be satisfied or not.. I opened a dispute through PayPal and shortly after Imr started sending the Enigmas to everyone, unfortunately I never received a response from Bob for my order, it would have been enough just to reply to PayPal which were in the...

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)

Thanks for the excellent impressions, I am very interested in the stage and oleography dimensions in an IEM, even if I interpret it differently, for me oleography means the ability to extend the sounds or instruments on the z axis, not a static image and positioning in depth with the music that...

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Good morning everyone, has anyone who has already received Enigma + already got an idea of what it is like in terms of the size of the stage and above all if the 3 dimensions are present and it is holographic? This is usually a strong point of IMR..

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions

Nice suggestion, I put it in the playlist.. I'm trying it with Orioulus SZA and Halcyon.. the distance in my case is greater on SZA but both are extremely to the left, I think it depends on the staging capacity of the IEMs and also on the source with which you listen to them

I read those posts too, but I wasn't referring to that one, in fact I never said it, also because he compared it to Odin which seems to have the opposite problem...😄sorry but if you haven't read it it doesn't mean that no one has never written or said and that he did it on Headfi.. and which...

The Watercooler -- Impressions, philosophical discussion and general banter. Index on first page. All welcome.

Hi, grateful for the impressions, how do you deal with the uppermids are so recessed? I also heard some reviewers mention oddities in the mids such as strange reverberations in the mids, in songs with few instruments the voices seemed to come from a stairwell... even if I doubt certain opinions...
