The RAD-0 really likes being driven balanced in my experience, and I can vouch for the GS-X mini being a superb companion to it. As with all lower-efficiency planars, it's all about being an amplifier able to deliver large amounts of current quickly, to allow the bass to be all that it can be.

Hi Jaytiss, MM-100 will NOT accept Maxwell earpads. The MM-100 earpads are attached using adhesive, like our LCD-series and MM-500, for optimal acoustic coupling and bass performance.

Yes, the cable pinout for MM-500 is the same as the LCD series.

It is a newly-designed driver for MM-100. Of course, it features processes, technologies, and knowledge found in other planar drivers that we make. This is not news. Audeze engineers have been hard at work to make this the best headphone for mixing and mastering that they can, at a price point...

Just to address a couple of questions that have come up: 1) Driver is not the same as Maxwell, nor MM-500. It is a new driver unique to MM-100. 2) The headphone is capable of balanced drive. We will provide pinout/cable configuration as we get closer to shipping.

Absolutely. We value customer feedback, and we WANT to make these products work as well for people's needs as we can. We will continue to do what we can, given the limitations imposed by chipsets, software, et al. on this product, and take feedback into account when working on the next one(s).

No, currently an untouched user EQ slot is the same as the "bass boost" preset. This will likely be changed/corrected in a future FW update.
