I got both HD700 and HD600 now.. got HE400 OG too with mods... after i listen all three, both HD600 and HE400 now being put on the market for sell... i keep the HD700.... amazing headphone especially i brought it second hand for less than $200 with brand new sheepskin pad and headband pad....

HD600 is one of my favorite headphone ever...you got to use tube amp for best performance... too bad i sell it because now i am using HD800... never look back... HD800 is the SUPER HD600....

i used to have many headphone... HD600,HD6xx,880,T1,LCD2, Yamaha HP1, HE400, HE4xx,HE400i, Stax L300 and some more i cannot remember... now I am using HD800 and enjoy it the most... the amplifier very important to u to enjoy HD800 fully... i am using desktop tube amplifier with speaker out...

HD800 is the super HD600... weil as long as u use proper amplifier... i am using desktop tube amplifier SET with speaker out directly to XLR out to headphone... so far very happy...

haven't try 800S, but using HD800 now... enjoy it very much... got to use proper amplifier, i am using speaker tube amplifier SET and direct the speaker out to XLR headphone out....and DIY PCM63-Y Grade... so far my end game setup...

Just got a clean and perfect condition HE400.. just do the grill mod and change the pad to velour... it already sound better than he400i... waiting for the balanced xlr cable arrive so can plug to my tube amplifier... my other headphone is hd800....i got it for $150... what you guys think?

Good to know somebody else agree with me... for everyone else that using USB, try to use proper COAX/OPTIC/SPDIF sources... you will be suprise.... lets keep the USB just for computer only, haha...

Is it just me, but i already using USB and COAX in BF2.. USB connected to macbook air + music + lossless... and raspberry + digipro plus + volumio + linear power supply to raspberry... no contest.. Rasp sound the best connect using COAX... the background so dark... music so detail and texture...

Yes.... my friends make it for me... from speaker out directly to balanced XLR... the speaker out still there in the back, so still can use as speaker amplifier...

I used to have several headphones.. Beyer T1, Yamaha HP1, HD600, Hifiman HE400, Beyer DT880, Stax L300, ATH r70x, and several more that i have forgot... then i got myself second hand LCD2 complete set for only $220... sell all the rest and only keep LCD2 and HD600... happy with what i have...

I am using my LCD2 prefazor with original cable and convert the 6.4 into XLR 4-pin balanced... i though i get a good improvement, but not much from my balanced XLR HD600.. my friend lend me his cable, Forza Noir Hybrid HPC... my jaw dropped.. my LCD sound so much different it seems i am using...
