Can't remember of any. You'd need the mounting rings, from another set or selfmade with a 3d printer. :) Once you have a set, have a look at ZMF pads. There're many options available, leather perforated or suede perforated in particular. My recommendation is the lambskin Universe pad for now...- Chris Kaoss

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]
That's the standard for se, yes. But it isn't set in stone with the Mojo. It's more like a general recommendation, imo. Trust your ears the most and be eager to experiment. :) Depends on the gain of the connected amp as well. For example, my R28 likes the blue setting also. Some amps can...- Chris Kaoss

Chord Mojo 2 Thread ___ [product released January 31, 2022 -- starting on page 95 of thread]
Ime, it's more a matter of the connected transducer, than the amp. If you've the right and proper connection, it should work well with any amp connected. Edit: Make sure to use the right output voltage from Mojo to your preferred amp. Than you're good to go.- Chris Kaoss

ZMF Bokeh works perfectly. The mids are a dream. :) Voices sounds the best I've heard to date. Had a brief listening to them with my Mojo 2 2 weeks ago. I don't like closed back that much, bc they heat up my ears to quickly. But if I'll be in the need for one (beside my Monitor 5), this is it...- Chris Kaoss

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
Different hearing, I guess. :) Hybrid pads on the Elite, except there was a full leather pad at the time. Can't stand suede pads on any of my headphones. :) On the Caldera, there were the stock pads and the ultra perf for testing. Oh, and I've to blame myself. It wasn't the Mojo 2 in this...- Chris Kaoss

I can't comment on "the best for". Maybe the Noir HPC could be a better pick, eventually, but I'm not sure about. But it is a stellar build cable, soft, without any tendencies to twist. It flows down the chest, so to say. :) Braiding is top notch. The main part was, that it has fit at my...- Chris Kaoss

There was something off with my cable (2ohm difference from left to right), plus the ergonomics aren't that great, though better then the cable which comes with the T1.2 cable. ^^- Chris Kaoss

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
Imo, the Elite has the best impact/ kick I've heard to date from an open back headphone. It feels like it hits "behind your neck/ throat". After my brief listening comparison between Elite and Caldera, I'd like to get a Caldera combined with the impact of the Elite . :ok_hand: Was tested with...- Chris Kaoss

Interesting. I'm very happy with the FAW Noir Hybrid (4 strands pure copper and 4 strands pure silver) on my Quad, so with the short Claire Hybrid I have. :) No matter if I use it balanced or se. Didn't liked the cable which came with them.- Chris Kaoss

Snag a used one for less money. :) It's great to have some spare parts and mounting rings in your arsenal. ^^ If you don't need the additional mounting rings, eg. pads, i'm sure they'll find a new owner easily. (me included)- Chris Kaoss

Hard to say what to ask for. It ranges from 200 to 550 €, depending on platform and condition. Sad that you can't put them back to your rotation, they really deserve it. :)- Chris Kaoss

Can second that. But i'm on ZMF Universe perforated lamb skin. A bit thicker than the og pads, but way more comfy and softer. Can't recommend them enough, it's more than worth the price.- Chris Kaoss

Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60
Thanks. As I said, it's all about preferences and believes, whether using bit perfect or modulation (EQ etc.) Even he said, he "believes" that Android Mixer doesn't do anything strange to the signal. And what Android (Mixer) is doing differs from version to version. Should it be only cut off...- Chris Kaoss

Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60
Can't comment on that statement bc I don't use EQ in my systems, except a tiny boost on the Mojo 2. If done right, (parametric)EQ is able to sound better to yourself, but that doesn't mean better sound quality. It just sounds more/better to your likings, and/ or can correct different...- Chris Kaoss

Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60
Uapp doesn't show the "internal" upscale process. So the displayed sample rate is correct, if bit perfect is applied in the settings. :) The internal upscaling in Uapp is for bypassing the android mixer mainly. You can force Uapp to automatically output with 24 bit/ 32 bit, but that doesn't...- Chris Kaoss

Updrade to more musical/fun dac amp
Yes, it does. Mojo 2 has an intelligent desktop mode. After a couple minutes/hours, it bypasses the battery if connected to power/mains permanently with an adequate source ( best is a 2A wall wart ).- Chris Kaoss

Updrade to more musical/fun dac amp
Can't comment bout the Hugo by experience. The Mojo is a great, mid-centric, very musical DAC/amp with no emphasis on both ends which, imo, is worth to get. The Mojo 2 is more "linear" in comparison, but compensate this with the added xfeed and the "UHD- EQ" (DSP). And this makes it even...- Chris Kaoss

Updrade to more musical/fun dac amp
I'd second the Mojo 2. With its DSP feature and cross feed you can't do better in a portable DAC/amp atm. While it doesn't sound stock as mid-centric as the Mojo og, you can fine tune the presentation to your liking very easy. Drives headphones quite well, from 20ohm Era-1 to 350ohm FT3. ;)- Chris Kaoss

Audio-Gd R-28 impressions thread
Got it, thanks. So unless my unit cracks up or I move to a bigger space, I won't to the upgrade to R27. :) Plus the R28, in regard to the other/higher devices of AGD, is a real "space saver".- Chris Kaoss

Yes. It's the same size. I'm a bit hesitant on the upgrading path to R27 bc of its size, too. The R27HE would be the logical step up for me. But, as I mentioned before, the R28 fits all my needs perfectly for now. Drives all headphones, the RCA inputs for Mojo or my TT, feeding my Elac...- Chris Kaoss
