Look at Eufonika tube amps for ZMF cans. For the price they offer, I don't know if there's any competition out there. For Aeolus, I have no higher recommendation. If I could choose just one set to have for the rest of time, I'd take the Aeolus with perf suedes and Eufonika H5.

Eufonika might be an option for us Euro's. Handmade tube amps. I believe they're Polish and sell via ebay. I've heard only good things of the H4, H5, H6 and H7.

And if you wish to save some cash, Xduoo's TA-20 is simply incredible considering it's only 300€ - once you replace the stock tubes.

LDMK3 is an awesome budget option for the Aeolus - requires a tube upgrade from stock though. I found Voskhod 6ZH1P-EV and Novosibirsk 6N6P-I to be a nice, affordable combo. edit: Looks like that MK3 comes with a nice assortment of tubes so nevermind.

I found the suede strap made the Aeolus supremely comfortable. Add suede pads and you have a headphone that competes with lightweight Hifiman or AT 'phones in comfort despite the weight.
