Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Anyone here who own MTW4 and TE-ZX1 (original or PNK) and/or the Triumph, and can compare them for me? Is the MTW4 so inferior that I should conider the Aviots/Nobles? I am very happy with the MTW4s, and think it's difficult to imagine that the Aviots/Nobles can sound soo much better.- BigZ12

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Sorry, a little misguided post from me. I just meant that a so good and expensive TWS deserves more than both SBC and AAC... I use the BT-W5 with my iPhone 15, so I would just buy quality/expensive TWS with aptX Adaptive just now. Just now it's MTW4 with aptX Adaptive and Airpods Pro 2 for...- BigZ12

SBC? :confounded: That's not the way to treat an expensive and "high-end" TWS? I see now that the Aviots have "only" LDAC, AAC and SBC... so not for me, my iPhone and BT-W5 then...- BigZ12

Do you use Apple Music?? Turn off the "Sound check" under iPhone Settings (Music). If that's on, it lowers the volume... (same with most Dolby Atmos tracks, I just turn it off with all headset except APP2 Pro)- BigZ12

A little strange, but they are good for just the MTW3 and MTW4. They are not suitable for many other TWS I've tried.- BigZ12

I really like my MTW4s with Flexifit foam. (A little shallow tips, with great comfort and sound) Sound with some "Sound Personalization" is great! BT range and stability is great. Anti Wind mode works well. ANC is good, so is transparency mode. MTW4: A really good allrounder IMO!- BigZ12

Double post, sorry. (But I can use this double post to say I'm updating as we speak, and hope my strange problem in the last post is fixed with version 5.6.1 :fingers_crossed::pray: EDIT: Aaand it's fixed! :) That's nice, thanks Sennheiser :) Sorry for 3 unnecessary posts :)- BigZ12

I have a strange "problem" with my MTW4s. A little difficult to explain, but I'll try. :) When pausing music, with ANC on, after a couple of seconds I start to get some noise floor hiss in the right bud. Not loud, but kind of strange feeling vs the left. Almost like I lose seal on the right...- BigZ12

A bit off topic, sorry for that, but... I have switched to a Mac Mini as my HTPC, so I cannot check for update of the firmware on my BT-W5 anymore. Is it still on version: 1.2.230511.1220?- BigZ12

Got my MTW4s today. I like the copper finish. (wanted something new/different) Put on the same Flexifit foam tips I used with my MTW3s. They are perfect for me. Connected to my Mac Mini M2 Pro and Creative BT-W5. Playing using Apple Music lossless and as you see in the app; aptX adaptive...- BigZ12

Anyone compared sound quality between MTW4 and Aurvana Ace 2? I still like the sound of the Creatives, but they are so affected by wind noise I can't wear them outside. So if the MTW4 sounds as good (or better?) I would invest I think...- BigZ12

Short update. I think they sound even better now, again with some eq'ing. I use som Azla tips. (don't remember the type) Noticably better than MTW3 (that I've sold now). Use them frequently when inside and have some "critical" listening. So good SQ and comfort, I actually use them more often...- BigZ12

Thanks for the tip. (no pun intended) Don't have any AZLA, but can try some others later.. Tried the original ones for just a short time. Felt the ANC was quite similar as with the Spinfits. I always change tips, so when it's time to sell the TWS I can put "unused tips" in the ad. SQ and fit...- BigZ12
