Update. Just got mine back (from iBasso via UrbanHifi) with the screen replacement and they have added a new screen protector onto it too. Just letting the device acclimatize to the house from being in the cold with DHL but on the face of it, it looks ok so far.

My repaired DX320 is on its way back from the States having been all the way back to China. Unashamedly excited to get it back and listen to it again.

👍 I have to admit I’ve never done it, at most one hard reboot and never had an issue but each to their own. I acknowledge it’s what is recommended but for god‘s sake it’s ridiculous I agree.

If the recommendation is 4x factory reset + >5 full power offs, then you know the software developmention is crappy 😆 Speaking as an ex software engineer, you should never need to do this.

Do iBasso do repairs ? I wrapped my IEMs around it put it in my back pocket and sat down in the car with it still there - cracked the screen. I need a minimum of a screen replacement.
