Suggestions for Old DT770s?
I've had a pair of DT770 Pro's (60 ohm I believe) for almost 9 years now, best pair of headphones I've ever owned. Problem is, just the last few days the sound on the left driver cuts out when the cable is bent a certain way, almost certainly needs a recabling. I'm just curious if its...- Pm@c

Need a Cheap Pair of Speakers
I need some decent quality speakers to run from my record player. I have some DT880's (600 ohm) and DT770's (80ohm) running from a Littledot MK3, but I want some speakers just so I can relax in my room, drink some beers and crank some Metallica/Dream Theater on vinyl. You guys really...- Pm@c

Need to Run 2 Computers to 1 Speaker
Every cable ive seen like that, it splits it up into 1 mic, and 1 speaker. And it should be 2 male 1 female. Ive gotten one in, but like I said, one end is for the mic, one is for the speaker. I didnt think there even was a cable solution, I thought I needed some sort of dac or amp.- Pm@c

Need to Run 2 Computers to 1 Speaker
I am not quite sure what I need, but I need to be able to run 2 computers into 1 set of speakers (computers with standard 3.5mm jacks, speakers have standard 3.5mm jack). Do I need a special sort of amp/dac that takes essentially 2 inputs with 1 output? With the ability to be able to switch...- Pm@c

Need a Decent Headset ~$30-$40
My friends mom came to me asking for advice on a headset for Christmas, and she only wants to spend around $40 bucks. I was wondering what the best option would be for gaming (I know a $40 headset wont sound the best, but this guy isn't exactly an audiophile)? Should be comfortable first and...- Pm@c

Need Outdoor Speakers for Around Hottub
Its that time of the year again, time to spend tons of money. Anyways... my siblings and I bought our father a hot tub for fathers day, and hes really taken to it. He has built a little sort of enclosed space around it so that he can enjoy it in the winter time. I know he likes to chill...- Pm@c

Picked up DT880 600 Ohm
I picked up a pair of 600ohm DT880's off of ebay for $230 (including shipping) that were slightly used. Very good condition actually, pretty much brand new. The guy told me they had less than 100 hours. My question is, I'm going from Xonar Essence STX through line out to a Littledot MK3...- Pm@c

Question about Xonar Essence STX + LD MKIII
I just got my LD MKIII, and was listening to it last night from my record player (Rega RP1 > CA 640p > LD MK III > DT770). I am not through the burn in stage yet, so it didnt quite blow me away, but it will get there I am sure. My question is, I have a Xonar Essence STX on my PC, that...- Pm@c

RP1 Arm Bobbing
Somehow theres some sort of bobbing to my records. I just bought this thing and had it configured by the guy who sold it to me. I have it playing on a level surface, and the slipmap is flat. The record is brand new, it definately is not warped because it happens with multiple records. ...- Pm@c

Need a Decent Amp Suggestion
Not a single person has a suggestion for me? I was looking at the LittleDot MK2 and MK3. Would anyone suggest either one over the other? Or something else entirely different. I asked the guy I got my TT and pre amp from if he could get me a littledot mk2, and he says he doesnts get...- Pm@c

Need a Decent Amp Suggestion
Shameless bump. Saw mention of WooAudio, but their cheapest is 500 bucks. Not sure if I would get the most out of a $500 amp when my Rega was only $500 itself. I should mention, I may be picking up some DT880's, so any amp that would go nicely with that as well would be good.- Pm@c

Need a Decent Amp Suggestion
My setup is: Rega RP1 >> CA Azur 640P >> AMP >> BeyerDynamic DT770's. I need a good amp for around $150-$400. Would be nice if it supported more than just headphone and could do speakers too (as I want to get a good pair of speakers down the road).- Pm@c

TT >> Phono Amp >> Xonar Essence STX?
Ive got my TT, and just received my Azur 640P in the mail today, now I need to be able to hook them up and listen. So I dont have a "proper" amp in the sense of the word, something that I can plug my headphones into (DT770). I currently listen through my PC with my Xonar Essence...- Pm@c

So I just got my Rega RP1 today, and should be getting my CA 640P Monday or Tuesday. I want to be able to listen to it before next weekend, so I need to order some decent cables. The guy I bought the RP1 from wanted to sell me Nexxtech cables, but ive never heard of them, I was a little...- Pm@c

Ear Plugs
Im going to my first ever concert next Thursday (Oct 6) and I am wondering if there are some ear plugs that would block out the loud noise but still allow me to fully appreciate the music. I just dont want to go home with a head ringing, but I still want to fully enjoy the concert.- Pm@c

Tonar Pre Amp vs Cambridge Audio 640p
I wanted to make sure he had it for when I planned to drive down to pick them up, so I went with my gut feeling (and my first choice) and went with the 640. I hate when I do a bit of research and then the guy I am buying from suggests something different.- Pm@c

Speakers Suggestion for TT Setup
Going to be getting an RP1 soon with a Cambridge 640P. Mostly going to be listening through headphones, but was thinking I may pick up a set of speakers down the road. Probably would have a budget of $400-700, wondering what would go well with this setup?- Pm@c

Tonar Pre Amp vs Cambridge Audio 640p
So I am buying a Rega RP1 soon, and I was wanting to go with the Cambridge Audio Azur 640p to go with it, but the guy I am buying it from is recommending "the Tonar" (didnt give me a model #) for 50 bucks less. Any thoughts? 50 bucks is nothing to me, and ive been looking up the 640p for a...- Pm@c
