I wonder if they could be replaced with a different connector type on the UMPros. Have never had an issue with the 2 pin connector on my Westone AC2s or 64s.

I've read that the MMCX connectors fail pretty regularly on Westone and Shure IEMs. I believe the connector was designed for things like WiFi antennas on routers and other less stressed connections. Not sure how it caught on in the IEM world.

They will replace the universal fit IEMs if they're still under warranty. Mine are not.

So the right side on my UMPRO30s has stopped working. It was intermittent at first and seemed to be an issue with the connector, but now it will not work at all. I swapped sides on the cable to isolate the issue to the earphone or the cable and the right earphone does not work connected to...

Have had a set of Westone UM 30 Pros for about 4 years. The right earphone has stopped working. It was intermittent at first and it would work if the cable was turned a certain way, but eventually stopped working completely. Swapping the cable sides doesn't fix it and the left one works either...
