They are long sold. To answer your question though you can plug these into any device with a 3.5mm, 2.5mm and 2.5mm with 4.4mm adaptor. I was using them with a Sony WM-1A DAP.

I did, but the return policy is pretty specific. The earphones produce sound. There is no static or cutting out. Because of Covid 19, earphones, like shoes and clothes cannot be returned. They are for sale though if you are interested. But be warned, they don't sound very good.
