SASH Deux & Tres; impressive planars from Ukraine
Well, I live here in Kyiv, can say it's not really a 100% safe, as long as Russia exist I don't think the world is too safe, but Ukraine will always be unsafe as long as Russia exist, I was beat up by Russians when I first moved here from the u.s. back in 2010, and the cops simply shrugged...- Themilkman46290

iBasso DX120 pure DAP player. Balanced, single ended, line out and 2 micro SD slots. FW 2.9.21 now out!
In that case, it could have to do with dirty contacts, or simply wear and tear, I used to wear thing out in the first year or 2, random drops, bumps, dust, lint and humidity is enough to ruin most electronics. I would say if your previous player had similar issues then it's probably something...- Themilkman46290

I had some similar issues once, it would come on and freeze and turn off, I formatted the sd and added files back a bit at a time, seems a couple files had been corrupted If that doesn't for you then contact ibasso, they have the best customer service that you will encounter in this industry...- Themilkman46290

Sound I guess is subjective, I never liked the hd600, really good mids, but veiled treble and rolled off sub bass, also never liked there warm tonality, I never really found why people call the HD600 so neutral, I know they have neutral mids but rolled off treble and sub bass isn't really...- Themilkman46290

There is a 3mm gap between the wood cup and the frame of the earphone, this gap is filled with the felt, when you remove all the felt it becomes open. So I didn't notice a difference in sound when I completely removed the wood because it doesn't allow for more air movement then was allready...- Themilkman46290

I auditioned the 1060c before buying these 565c but skipped them (wanted something more portable) was surprised how good they sound and decided to buy them even tho that zeos Moron said they sucked, after a few light mods they sounded awesome, I would say the 1060c sound much better open, but...- Themilkman46290

I did it, can't say it made a huge difference, I tried them without felt, with felt, without the cups and with the cups mass loaded. In the beginning I preferred them with half the felt, but then I mass loaded them and removed all the felt, it sounds almost the same as cups off because of the...- Themilkman46290

SASH Deux & Tres; impressive planars from Ukraine
Hello all you guys, so I've been thinking of getting the 45ohm version but understand my portable setup will not push it, so I am looking at different options and was hoping you guys could give a few suggestions. I don't really like tubes (prefer neutral, without any roll off of frequency) I...- Themilkman46290

I haven't found many, was thinking of buying the 45ohm version also, but figured since I will probably need a better amp and can't see the fr graph, I might as well wait a bit until someone makes one.- Themilkman46290

If my Dx200 pushes 1 watt into 32ohms, I am pretty sure your dx300 can too....... And they sound great with just one watt. Sounded good through my dx120's balanced out too (400mw at 32ohms) I listen fairly loud but still rarely go above 130 steps out of 150 on high gain I thought sash said it...- Themilkman46290

Yes the dx300 is more then enough as far as a portable player, the wait wasn't bad for me but I got mine before the Russian fascist invaded Ukraine, if you prefer a bassier headphone then the 16ohm will satisfy. You will not be disappointed- Themilkman46290

Heat the back with a blow dryer, gently remove the glass back, the battery has a bit of double sided tape, there is a small white box at the end of the batteries wire on the board, gently remove the 2 prong din socket thingy, then through out your old bloated battery before it self destructs...- Themilkman46290

The fostex need a good bass boost and by looking at the zmf pads, they would definitely give that. But not sure these 565c need the same thing, I am seriously loving these cloth pads mentioned in this thread, it boost the sub bass and calms the peaks, makes these headphones sound more neutral...- Themilkman46290

Sorry I didn't get back to you, ruzzian nazi's are currently blowing up anything related to energy in my country, so I only yesterday had light and electricity.
