SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
Unfortunately this way it defaults to SBC, I'd like to use AAC. Is there any way to do it?- songoftime11

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
You mean the Sonarworks true fi app? I tried it but the sound quality drops so much. Also, it doesn't allow me to equalize, I just chose my headphones in the list and entered age and sex.- songoftime11

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
I want to equalize the sound on Android. I mostly stream music with Spotify. I would like to use the LDAC codec but my phone has no equalizer for Bluetooth headphones. Right now I am using AAC and equalizing with the Sony app. This way, everytime I open the app I have to go on the phone settings...- songoftime11

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
Thanks, I've tried them but I hadn't the possibility to connect my phone. The sound was too bass heavy for me, that's why I will absolutely need the equalizer.- songoftime11

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
I have an android phone which supports the AAC codec. Will I be able to use it with the equalizer? How much quality will I lose using AAC or SBC with respect to LDAC?- songoftime11

SONY WH1000XM3 - better than QC35 in noise cancelling?
I'm considering the Sony wm 10000xm3 since a person stole my Bowers & Wilkins PX. The most scary things are: - the cracks on the plastic many people have experienced - the recent firmware which seems to make the anc much worse Would you suggest me these headphones or you think I should go for...- songoftime11

Try checking on settings >> audio&vibration >> audio tuner. The hissing on wired mode is a known problem, I use the alsa mixer on Ubuntu to weaken it.- songoftime11

Don't have this problem with the op5, but I think I read somewhere that they used a worse built in DAC on the OP5T.- songoftime11

Thanks everyone, I'll surely try and see how my listening experience change. But I was wondering why most Jazz and Rock preset equalizers are V-shaped? Most people prefer this equalization? If so, why aren't these genres produced with this equalization? Sorry for the nooby questions, if you got...- songoftime11

Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
I have no experience in music production and never had high quality headphones. I play drums and I feel boosting highs helps me distinguish the various toms and cymbals. I grew up listening with a treble boosted equalizer so I quite got used to it. The reasons for which I think it sounds better...- songoftime11

Do you equalize your music? I feel PX need equalization especially for rock and jazz music, boosting highs and lowering mids. What apps you suggest to equalize on Android? I use VLC's equalizer for FLACs- songoftime11

Today I tried the PX. I have aptx HD codecs ON my smartphone so I tried to stream a FLAC album with VLC on Android. The headphones were mute, while they weren't when using Spotify or the default player. How can I stream FLAC audio via Bluetooth on the PX?- songoftime11
