Know some of those, especially The time Machine. Phase IV was another. Think I'll miss out on the Robot Monster, watching the trailer was enough lol.- Ryokan

Have never heard of it, taken a chance and bought it. Haven't heard of The Forbin Project either. Have the Omega Man, great movie especially the news reader guy (Anthony Zerbe). There are so many from around that era - Forbidden Planet, Them and one I often used to watch as a kid - The...- Ryokan

Silent Running is an other good sci-fi film imo, especially as it seems all too plausible, though really sad as only one robot is left alone at the end to tend the garden, a real tear jerker just to warn peeps who haven't seen it. Anyone else got any sci-fi recs?- Ryokan

A few have experienced it especially in places that have a temperate climate. You could see beads of moisture on the nozzles, metal isn't really a good material for an iem imo.- Ryokan

I bought an original Andro and really liked it, nothing I had before, or since really, sounded like it. Sold it after a good few years cheap as it was getting moisture in it affecting the drivers one side but missed it so bought a 2019 version which sounds more bassy and, touch wood, hasn't had...- Ryokan

Acoustic levitation is interesting, I wonder if large objects can one day be suspended in air? Maybe even flying craft could levitate using sound waves?- Ryokan

Hope this help you to explain Hi-Res music to your CD friends
Then you've got many great Swedish and Norwegian bands next door, It's niche music and has a relatively small following so I'm not surprised. They did a song with Amon Amarth.- Ryokan

Discogs is a great place and I had an account for ages until they added tax on sales so out of principal I deleted my account, oh well. You have some great bands - Nightwish, Insomnium, Finntroll, Amorphis, Oranssi Pazuzu,Skepticism, guess they're not your cup of tea.- Ryokan
