Windows 7 64bit, AV-710 flashed to Prodigy..Ideas?
They're are available drivers, they just fail to install. I moved the sound card to another PC having the same issue (windows XP) I think I'm going to reflash it, couldn't find a floppy disc anywhere. I really only use this soundcard for optical out, use a external DAC to some Mackie Studio Monitors- RasmusseN

Headphone recommendations
I am posting just to say I don't recommend Grados for your music choices because others recommended them they will NOT sound good playing rap, hip-hop and techno/trance IMO they don't even sound for rock, although there is a group of people that will say otherwise- RasmusseN

The Loud Earphones Hunt. Help!
IEM would isolate outside sound so you wouldn't have to listen to them all that loud but if your main concern is loudness... this forum isn't for you I wouldn't be surprised if your hearing was severely damaged- RasmusseN

consensus on HD580's quality?
I've owned both HD555 is built better IMO HD580 has plastic grills, a thin headphone cable, and a crappy headband. fix: HD600/HD650 grills to replace the plastic ones HD650 cable much thicker and it's inexpensive headband... shoelaces? like mine currently- RasmusseN

DAC - Most confusing component to upgrade
most people on head-fi listen to music through high end cd players, therefore no need for an external dac so they concentrate on headphones and amps.. DAC's are very important and can change the sound more than amps- RasmusseN
