On my A45 I’m sure there’s a setting where the Hold button only affects the physical buttons but allows the screen to be used regardless

I have dropouts occur when using LDAC with my Sony A45. But I think it’s more to do with the weak signal from the Walkman rather than a problem with the headphones. AAC from iPhone/iPad not a problem at all

You need 200 hours at least of burn in with the WM1A so the sound will constantly be changing. I was still noticing changes up until about 600 hours but most of it happens in the first 200

I think I’ve settled on my sweet spot. Neutral, MX3, Plus V2, alternate DAC. I switched from TW region as I found it was making vocals sound processed at times

I found WM1Z was too relaxed for my tastes. So I’m on to bright, E, alternate DAC enabled. I may try neutral at some point and see how that feels

I find switching to the alternate DAC initiation really adds to the holographic nature of the soundstage on both normal and Plus V2 mode
