Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60
I'm hella late on this, but why are you triple amping? You're risking damaging the Mobius as it is an active headphone and already has DSP. Just plug it in via the USB-C cable to the phone to get the best results...if anything use UAPP to EQ .- VI001101106

the V30 (or G7 if you want a slightly smaller size-device) are perfect for it. It's what I've done since switching to a Pixel as my main phone.- VI001101106

Sooo are MQA tracks going to read "MASTER" quality in the now-playing screen if just wired or BT headphones are connected? Cos then that'd be a lie... Nevermind. I just read the other article.- VI001101106

Qobuz, sorry to say, is not ready for widespread use in the US. Not sure if the EU app is different but the beta one we got to use in the US lags severely and gives all types of errors.- VI001101106

Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60
So I tried it with the G7 now and the sample rate was obviously 48kHz. But so was the Pixel 3 (playing Tidal HiFi). Now, it did play thru the speaker since I can't have the dongle plugged in and also have it connected to my desktop. Was this supposed to be fixed in Pie period or are you...- VI001101106

I'm afraid at this rate that the G7 will receive Pie before the V30. If you show/point me to how I can test this whenever the G7 gets updated, I can definitely try it.- VI001101106

That's why I kept the G7 as a DAP. Much better size (and the 3.5mm jack is on the correct side).- VI001101106

A quick workaround to selecting multiple pictures at once on the site is to hover on the date of the pics with your mouse then a checkmark appears. Click it and all of the pictures for that day are automatically selected.- VI001101106

Audeze Mobius review / impressions
Far better SQ. I don't regret switching to these from the XM3s. SQ is far better. The XM3s are to bass-y for their own good. There is zero distortion on the Mobius. Also, physical buttons are better than finicky touch surfaces.- VI001101106

It may very well not work. But those of you who are rooted and can definitely try it. Not a lot of people seem to care about sample rates or what they are apparently. I had no idea about this being an issue until I found this V30 thread when I got the phone in 2017.- VI001101106

So, I found this thread on Reddit that explains how to change the sample rate to 44.1 across the board. Of course, you need root.- VI001101106

1. Yes. 2. Excellent. 3. Comparable. Didn't really see a difference. 4. Not at all. People root it for extra audio options that are either unnecessary or available via other (cheap) options. But, IMO, it's not needed at all. 5. Yes. I think Max is 2TB?- VI001101106

Well, it depends. If you're not planning on using streaming services and have all the music you want on a micro SD card, both the Shanling and Hidizs are a better deal. They don't run Android, thus you cannot install streaming apps. I used the G7 for 5-6 months as a phone/DAP and battery was...- VI001101106

Both the AKGs and BGVP are 20ohm. You shouldn't have an issue due to the upsampling, but YMMV.- VI001101106

The V30 is definitely an improvement over the iphone, SQ wise. What headphones do you use? I have used planar-magnetics from Audeze ever since the V20 and I have not found a phone that can sound as good AND drive these headphones appropriately as LG's. I've kept my G7 as a DAP and switched to a...- VI001101106

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
They have...it's called Mobius. ;P But seriously, having both Mobius and iSine 10s...I am preferring Mobius lately. SQ is the same across the board via USB and BT. Different EQ profiles that can be switched to and from easily. I'm keeping the iSines to use exclusively with my LG G7, just like...- VI001101106

Music Apps, Tips and Tricks for the LG V30, V35, V40, V50 & V60
I don't believe so. As I said in the other thread, this is an Android/LG issue. So it affects the OS as a whole. Also, it depends on what gear you're using to listen to these tracks. I've seen people mention the Shure SE846's can make these 'artifacts' appear when playing upsampled tracks. So...- VI001101106

Because the adapter has some sort of filter which greatly reduces volume. You need to enable HIM and then remove the adapter to get the full SQ out of the DAC.- VI001101106

Not sure about your PC, but for your phone make sure the Mobius is in either 2-channel stereo or Hi-Res modes. Hi-Res is preferable.- VI001101106

If you want even louder volume than Aux mode, I suggest getting an impedance adapter off ebay (dunu is the brand, I think) to plug in before your headphones. I personally did that with my V30/G7 and it drives any headphone under 300ohms plenty loud.- VI001101106
