    From Triple.Fi to UM3X

I'm going to give the UM3X more time to see if I can get used to it. The problem with the TF that I have is that I could never get a fit and seal. It's frustrating to use even after I've done the left/right cable swap. Perhaps I'm simply not using the right tips.

    From Triple.Fi to UM3X

Thanks Kloan. I wonder if I can pick these up at Best Buy? The thing that I notice about the UM3X that's bothering a bit is how up close the soundstage it. It's too close for my comfort. I like that the TF puts the singer and instruments a little farther ahead in the sound imaging. Edit...

    Westone UM3X Thread

No UM3X bashing meant here, but I was going back and forth between UM3X and my Triple.Fi and my best description is this. The UM3X sounded as if I have stuffed up ears, you know like when you have a cold. The TF was just sparkly, clear, and the soundstage just breathe... wide and nice. Of...

    From Triple.Fi to UM3X

Thanks for the info kloan. Do you have the link to eBay for the exact shure foamies? Thanks. My gear currently is Cowon A2. I hope I can get used to the UM3X. A bit disappointed in the treble department. The non-detachable cable is also a bummer!

    From Triple.Fi to UM3X

I'm not sure if the foamies I have for the TF is comply. It's just a 'square' foamy tip, not a rounded tip like the comply. I got my TF used and it came with that, in fact several silicone tips and a foamy. Zalithian, which tip do you suggest? I noticed that the UM3X nozzle is much much...

    From Triple.Fi to UM3X

Hi all, As my title indicated, my previous IEM was the Triple.Fi. I was never able to get a good seal with the silicon tips that was included. But that really wasn't the issue I am writing. I received my UM3X about 3 days ago, and have perhaps less that 30hrs on it. When I do a back to back...

    Westone UM3X Thread

Just got my um3x today. I had the Triple.Fi before. Fit is great, using the smallest foam tip. I'm not used to foam tip and it felt a but uncomfortable.. slight pressure on my ear canal when the foam fully expanded. I bet I'll get used to it. I'm not sure if I like it yet. Coming from the TF...

NC meet - Sunday, September 23rd

I'm also in the Raleigh area, North Hills, and would enjoy a meet as well. I'm a total newbie to audiophile quality equipment, but very interested. I have the A2 and U3.

Where to tryout E500 or Triple.Fi in Raleigh, NC?

Hi guys, I've been reading a lot and doing research and have finally settled on either the E500 or Triple.Fi. I'm using the Audio Technica ATH-CK7 right now with my Cowon A2 and am not too happy about it. I want to test out the E500 or Triple.Fi but I don't know where in Raleigh, NC I can do...
