What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

The other guys already replied, but wanted to add that most companies make a lot of different lengths of cables. No matter if expensive or not. And most times, the best cable is no cable, meaning the shorter the better. But there may be exceptions.

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

I didn't know until told here and looked it up. From what I read, u want it to be at least 1.5 meters and no more than 5 meters (if I remember right) Monoprice cables are a great value. Very good for their cost. The difference between a $5, 50, and 500 cable with just get arguments. I think...

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

Thanks for the input. Yeah sound is more important to me as well. Hoping to find best of both worlds, and closer to 50-75 $ range. Will see! Btw, got to hear a LCD4 via a holo spring l3 dac with a blue GSX mk2 from MR Headamp himself at a meet not long ago in NC, that is the best system I've...

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

It's a little more than I wanted to spend. And I don't like the way it looks that much. If it was for sure a major improvement , I would c insider it, but I think I can find one a little cheaper that I like just as much. Another one I am considering is DH labs silver son is USB. But it's kinda high.

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

Are u saying the dac gets it's signal from a usb hooked into a usb hub? I thought that was supposed to be a bad idea? But anyways, I'm pretty sure you would hook it up after the hub and before the dac. There would likely be some info from the manufacturer included with item or on their website...

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

And I was really not trying to get into a "cable quality matters" debate. I hear a difference in usb cables. Nothing major, just sounds a little different. I have a pretty good system and wanted to upgrade my $6 cable I'm using now. Wanted to stay under $100 (1.5m). Was curious what you guys...

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

I had never heard of reflection issues, I learn something new every day. Thanks And he will make them whatever length you want, you have to let him know how long. I guess he mainly gives the 1m so you kinda have an idea where the price starts at.

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

He only lists the 1m size, you have to send him a message if you want a different size. He says 4N purity, I know on stranded cables offer 7N (Maybe better idk?). But it is made with silver too. Not sure about how great that copper sleeve is, but it looks pretty cool IMO. I've been considering...

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

So not much advatage/benefit using a solid wire as far as transferring signal quality goes? That was probably my main question.

What's the best USB audio cable for the money?

https://www.dysonaudio.com/collections/usb-cables/products/new-handmade-dyson-audio-data-influx-2-0-audiophile-usb-dac-cable-1-meter Is a solid core USB (or any other IC) better than a stranded one? This looks like a pretty good one to me and not all the expensive as cables go. Any opinions on...

You are using a $200 usb? Have u really noticed that big of an improvement (Not try to start argument people plz, just asking a question)? I have a LH Labs USB and a cheapo USB. There is a difference but might be looking for something different. Not sure on how much I will spend tho

I have $4,500 for a full headphone setup

I have a basic $20 Belkin power strip. If I ran it out of a small Keces, do you know if it would still give me nearly the same benefit in sound? Instead of buying one with a lot of plugs? And I had never heard of a Glen amp before, and it looks like a very good quality piece. Especially if you...

Keces power isolater - how big of a difference can you tell with it yet? I understand you may have it all yet, but what are some of the better conditioners for the money? And congrats on finding your system! I'd love to hear it, it sounds like a winner!

I have $4,500 for a full headphone setup

I think this would be a great system, but would like to make sure op understands the GSX is a powerful amp and the Hex would not need anything close to that. Would go with the Hek, even if going with a lesser dac (gumby would still be great). But if you ever get headphones that need there juice...

I have $4,500 for a full headphone setup

One thing to consider is people are selling their original Yggdrasil very reasonably in order to just buy a new one right now. if you could get a GSX MK2 for around $2,000 and Yggy around $1600, you could pick up one of my favorites (TH900) used or maybe even a HD800 or an Audeze LCD X! And you...

Has anyone sent in an Yggy with an aftermarket fuse in it? I bought mine used with a $120 fuse and I want to upgrade it to A2 when I can. Would they take it out and put a normal one in when upgrading and send it back to me or leave it in?

Actually, I'm pretty sure they do! I'm probably one of the 1% on here with a high end system and a video game fan, but look up some video games like Bioshock on YouTube and listen to the music. I think the game is set in the 1950s, and the music sounds so much like what I think it actually...

In case no one mentioned it, there are already things you can download on your computer to change it to sound more like a vinyl or many other settings. Along with an EQ, you can already make it sound basically any way you want. Some people on here act like using any kind of DSP or EQ is an...

    Focal Clear headphones

I'm not sure if this has been asked yet, but it seems the Elear and Clear are very similar except the drivers inside. If one had the Elear and was able to buy the drivers from the Clear (for say, $200), is there a reason that you could not just do that and have the same sound as the Clear, for...

I have $4,500 for a full headphone setup

Remember if you get an Utopia used, the warranty will not transfer. I'd still consider one used if a good price. ($2,500 or less). Another great one would be the LCD 4. Then maybe add an Audio gd master 11 or something similar? I agree with trying stuff out at a store or people with nice...
