I've been struggling with an ear infection for months and can't use inears. Does anyone have any tips for me for on-ears or over-ears for on the go? Is it possible to set the Bluetooth channels separately? cheers

Hey folks. I have a few single malts, Irish and Scottish. Blends too. Bourbon, e.g. Blanton's or JD/JB for mixing :D I also have a few whisky liqueurs. I like to drink this in summer https://www.jamesonwhiskey.com/en-us/cocktail-recipes/jameson-ginger-lime/ There will also be some changes for...

@Light - Man A long story. In short: I've been in pain for over 30 years and had a serious operation where a piece of my skull bone had to be removed. I had a herniated disc a good 2 years ago, which has made itself felt from time to time. Latest diagnosis is fibromyalgia and chronic pain...

Back from rehabilitation. 3 weeks that unfortunately didn't bring much... I'm now taking opioids for the pain, which I actually wanted to avoid... Follow-up care for the next 12 months and physiotherapy. Life goes on. I hope everyone here is okay so far. I've missed a lot, it looks like. cheers

Thx jerick70 :) The brown and white switches are not much different, both have an identical operating force. Pre-travel is 2.0 vs 1.8mm. The brown switches are tactile and the white switches are clicky, so the white switches are louder. As I am sensitive to certain noises, I think the brown...

Hey folks. Since we were talking about keyboards: I won an Endorfy TKL keyboard in a competition with Kailh Box Brown switches and connection is possible either via BT, 2.4G or USB My QPad full size keyboard uses Kailh Red, but I have to admit the brown ones are really comfortable for typing...

I can still remember my first Sony Discman (D-141 or something like that), the battery consumption was enormous and it skipped at the slightest vibration. I also had a cassette adapter like that. The backpack was full of CD and all the trays in the car. lol

I also like the cooling concept, ventilation holes on the top and bottom. The amplifier chip sits on the bottom of the board and the heat sink is screwed to the case, so uses it as an additional cooling surface. The knob is made of solid aluminum.

@jerick70 The "little one" does really well, it is absolutely quiet, no hum, whether a signal is present or not. It sounds neutral in my opinion. I will replace the OP amp against LM4562 and see if that changes the sound signature.

It's really a bargain, you're right. I have the 48V power supply from Fosi Audio. It's bigger like the V3. ^^

I got the small Class-D amplifier from Fosi Audio for testing. This is really a powerhouse, depending on the power supply, the V3 can deliver up to 2x 300W @4Ohm and it is really well made. No frills, no remote control, only one RCA input and one pre-out via 3.5 jack. The op-amp are...

I met a magical fairy yesterday who said she would grant me one wish. "I wish to live forever," I said. "Sorry," said the fairy, "I‘m not allowed to grant that particular wish." "Fine," I said, "then I want to die the day after Congress is filled with honest, hard-working, bipartisan men and...

It is a solid state amplifier, a Kenwood M2a. Via the headphone output both channels are ok, the volume controls work without problems. Maybe it's just bad solder joints, if I didn't have such pain in my hands I would take a closer look. I am very attached to the old units, but spare parts are a...

My power amplifier has gone bye-bye with massive distortion of the left channel and the CD player no longer reads a CD... Sometimes I could... Repairing the power amp/CD player might be expensive and I can't afford it at the moment. At least the R3 works and I can listen to music.

If you ask me so, sure it's too expensive. ;) It must each know for himself whether he wants to have more a design turntable or a workhorse and what he wants to invest. With pickups you can also still burn a lot of money. @jerick70 Hard to say, I like the old devices - also from the design...

The Rega is overpriced at $775. Any turntable with sub-chassis is better than this breakfast board imho. ;) I have a CEC BD 6000 with belt drive and the Kenwood 3070 with direct drive, with the right cartridge they should easily outperform the P2. I would rather take a used and serviced...
