You may not really need to add additional solder. Just heating up the joint to melt the existing solder may be enough. If you have or can borrow a soldering iron it is should be verry simple.- eTomcat

I contacted them few times. They (Alex) always replied back within a day or two. The tracking number provided is useless. It was always showing the item had left Hong Kong Cheers- eTomcat

I got a tracking number that only showed the package had left Honk Kong. Even when I received it 3 weeks later it was still showing the same. I live in Canada. Regards- eTomcat

You need one dual (two opAmps in one package) - V5i D Looks like you have ordered two single opAmps. They won't work. Check the opAmps if they have "D" on top- eTomcat

Compared to the original opamp, I find the sound with V5i warmer, more musical and less fatiguing (the highs are not that bright), the sound stage wider and more airy with over all more organic feeling- eTomcat

It is very simple. To open the device, you need to unscrew the screws on the back plane (4) and the front (4), then slide out the PCB by pulling the front plane. Used it as it is to get used to the sound signature (I really liked it although it was just a bit too bright for me) and then changed the op amp to Burson V5i. I like the sound much more now. I should thank you both :) I wouldn't have noticed that if it wasn't for your posts. Mine (black) was scratched only on one place and it was wrong. Both front and black plates were not scratched. The main cover was scratched inside, but over where the contact pin is. On a place that would work...- eTomcat
