Otherwise I would get something from ZMF. Their classics are great deal and you can sometimes find very good deals on their used woody models...- vinekly

Not sure about Fiio one way or the other but an Objective 2 would surely do the job. Alessandro MS2 are 32 ohms I believe. I would get those first and I think someone is selling a pair on this site. Should be able to find them for $140 to $175- vinekly

Sennheiser 600 or 650 (consensus opinion for good reason) Alessandro MS2 (my recommendation since you already have 598) these are more neutral versions of Grado SR 325 Beyerdynamic DT880 ZMF Classic Beyerdynamic T1 used is another option For 600ish MrSpeakers Aeon Flow (open and closed both...- vinekly

Grado Black Label
I’ve been searching around and although I’ve seen some people talking about the Grado black label headphones I can’t find an actual review of either the black label 1 or 2. They look unique and apparently have uniquedrivers but they’re not cheap. I’m very curious about the sound but don’t wanna...- vinekly

ETHER 2: Impressions and Discussion
Another thing I like about Mrspeakers and zmf is that headphones are complimentary of each other and not getting run over by models like people complain of re hifiman. Ether 2 is really a substantial shift from Ether flow open. Efo is softer and warmer I think. Combine efo with 800 and something...- vinekly

Disagree. Listening to these amazing headphones makes me wonder about why Audeze has to be so heavy and unwieldy. Don’t let these reports throw you guys, these are game changer planars that straddle electrostatic sound with all of benefits of planar. Only Mrspeakers and ZMF make me feel like...- vinekly

ETHER 2: Impressions and Discussion
Okay for those who have been wanting a comparison to EFO, I have been doing a bit of A/B testing between E2, EFO, Auteur, Atticus, LCD2, HD800S, Utopia, Aeon Flow Open, HD650 and some Grados. First of all, i really like the E2's. I started comparing them to all of these others because they...- vinekly

Oh God... I just found my Grado HP-1's.
I found an interesting review from when they were released. Excerpt and link below: https://www.stereophile.com/content/grado-hp-1-headphones The HP 1s are constructed unlike any other headphone I've encountered. Grado's design goal was to minimize and control the resonance problems which...- vinekly

Joe Grado seemed to really want to push the boundaries and innovate whereas Now the company stresses heritage and wood. I’d Love to see some Joe Grado heritage releases (e.g. reproductions, as opposed to the GH1). Love those headphones though- vinekly
