Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC
So Holo doesnt provide both fuses? If you have a 220v unit, then you have to buy 120v fuse, and vice versa?- omniweltall

Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC
Hi folks, can current owners help me check if Cyan 2 is switchable between 120v and 220v? The information in Kitsune's website is not clear. It says "configurable. Please see label at the BOTTOM of the chassis". Thank you.- omniweltall

Schiit Modi USB DAC
10 years later, I'm facing this exact same issue now. And I can't find the answer on the internet since most people dont use Schiit dacs, right? So thanks for this. At least I know roughly the issue.- omniweltall

does the more expensive Hifiman have better build (or at least perception of build)?
It is such a shame that they have such low manufacturing cost compared to their western peers, and yet they still choose cheap materials, and....still sell their products at western peers' price levels.- omniweltall

HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama
I don't think it's only Adorama. Even hifiman is selling them at USD600 as "open-box" deal. But actually those are brand new. https://store.hifiman.com/index.php/he6se-v2.html Hifiman has very low cost of manufacturing and in addition, they are not known to use quality materials. Even at...- omniweltall

Zähl HM1 - Reference Headphone Amplifier
This is a very valid question. There has been serious conflict of interest with most reviewers. Thats why I only read a few selected reviewers. But even then I need to adjust to their preference and biases.- omniweltall

HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama
I think it was covered a few times before. But for those who are on the fence with regards to amp choice, do give Schiit Jotunheim 2 a try. I still listen through the Jot 2 and it sounds good, even compared to the other more expensive SS amps I tried with it. Also, it is difficult to compare...- omniweltall

Zähl HM1 - Reference Headphone Amplifier
Congrats Torq. One thing I'm curious to hear later is how this compares to the good tube amps, when it comes to micro details/dynamics, natural transient, and timbre. Along the years though I love good SS amps, they are still SS amps. Too bad this is way beyond my budget. But at least I look...- omniweltall

Schiit Audio Bifrost 2
I personally think Bifrost 2/64 will serve you better with your headphones and amps. Bifrost 2/64 + Jot 2: LCD-XC and Aeon 2 Closed Bifrost 2/64 + Vali 2: HD6XX And you will have a really good system there with different flavors to go with, mate! I hold the Jot 2 in very high regards...- omniweltall

Schiit Audio Bifrost 2
I personally don't think Bifrost 2 OG is inferior in this aspect to the Bifrost 2/64. The OG is similar in technicalities to the 2/64, but different flavors. It is just the nature of trade-offs. Thickness does hinder details and separation to a certain way, but boy, they sure sound musical. I...- omniweltall

Schiit Audio Bifrost 2
To my ear, Bifrost 2 OG is thick, warm and rich in the mid-bass and mids. Very uniquely colored. Staging feels stuffier due to the thickness. But very musical and organic sounding. That mid-bass punch and thickness, combined with its macrodynamic contrast makes it a fun listen. In comparison...- omniweltall
