Brainwavz Audio B400 4-Way Quad Driver 3D Printed IEM
I also have the B100, and the improvement over B100 is quite significant. Imaging and separation are dramatically improved, as well as the overall level of detail, though i can’t comment on tonality in a side-by-side as my B100 have recently shorted out at the strain relief. Oh well. Overall i’d...- TympanicLiam

Brainwavz Audio B400 4-Way Quad Driver 3D Printed IEM
Hey, I am a Batch 2 buyer and am wondering if this still will happen? My right monitor has had at least one driver stop functioning (not a cable issue), and I was hoping to have both the driver issue and the rehousing accomplished simultaneously, so I have yet to send them in for driver repair...- TympanicLiam

Brainwavz Audio B400 4-Way Quad Driver 3D Printed IEM
Yesterday a driver (possibly two, im no expert) went out in my right earpiece entirely. The right earpiece only plays at about half the volume of the left now, and the problem is not fixed by cable swapping, nor is the bore dirty/clogged. Despite the issues that i’ve had with the B400’s, they...- TympanicLiam

Broken Triple Fi's
I have a pair of triple fi's which function properly in the right monitor, but lose the highs in the left monitor randomly. I can get the highs to come through properly sometimes by pushing slightly on the housing, leading me to believe that a BA driver may simply have come slightly loose from...- TympanicLiam

Good Recording of Carmen
Can anyone recommend to me a good recording of Bizet's carmen? I have listened to a couple of recordings and it seems that the quality is always pretty bad, almost like someone recording a concert with their phone (though not quite that bad of course, just for comparison). Such flawed recordings...- TympanicLiam

monoprice Dac\Amps shootout!
Unfortunately i cannot comment on the tube amp, but i have the first one and it has never performed unsatisfactorily. Details are clear and well separated, and it definitely improves the sound out of my over ear headphones vs straight from my desktop. I will say that i have on occasion heard...- TympanicLiam

Some recommendations for Operas/Baroque/Piano Pieces
There is of course the immortal classic Carmen, by Bizet. I find it to be emotionally and sonically rich, and a highly enjoyable experience overall, many 'wow' moments that make obvious the reason for its fame.- TympanicLiam

Damaged Triple Fi's
I can get them to function if i squeeze the middle of the earpiece where the blue gunmetal connects to the black plastic, which is somewhat odd. I've opened up the earpiece and can't detect any damage internally.- TympanicLiam

Brainwavz Audio B400 4-Way Quad Driver 3D Printed IEM
Thanks for the input! Given the fantastic pricing of the B400 I'm inclined to believe that they are the best choice of the spread for someone (me) that values relatively neutral audio without compromising bass extension or overspending.- TympanicLiam

Any of you out there spent time with the B400 as well as anything like Triple Fi's, Weston's 30-40's, UE 900s? Looking to replace a pair of triple fi's broken in one ear, and wouldn't mind getting something more ergonomic.- TympanicLiam

Brainwavz B400: Why not metal?
Alright, fair enough! As a consumer i'm all for prioritizing ergonomics and sound quality while still getting a product out for a reasonable price (as Brainwavz has done yet again). I had just been wondering because I hadn't seen any acknowledgement of the change in other threads.- TympanicLiam

Brainwavz B400: Why not metal?
Ive been a fan of Brainwavz since I bought a pair of B100s about a year ago, and have since bought a pair for my boyfriend as well. Thinking of upgrading soon and taking notice of the new B400s, but i'm wondering about a couple of things. Like, why are they 3d printed as opposed to the die cast...- TympanicLiam

Damaged Triple Fi's
A relative of mine had a pair of triple fi's and didn't like the comfort (just my luck) and passed them on to me. After a few weeks with them i noticed the left channel would cut out occasionally. Ive tried flipping the cable to see if it's an issue with the connector but it doesn't seem to be...- TympanicLiam
