Do you prefer Ironwood or Leopardwood VC?

OTL stands for "output transformerless". These tube amplifiers do not have output transformers, so they have high output impedance. Its a natural great choice for high impedance dynamic headphones like ZMF, not much for others. Because of lack of OT, its cheaper, because good OT are costly.

There is also Radial vented mesh, which is more open than stock mesh.

I bought the VC first because I thought of them as fixed VO. Now as I have both, I preffer VO more. But It sure depends on genres you listen to. VO are great for jazz, classical and acoustic music, VC for electronic. VO does have expansive soundstage, VC soundtage is great for closed back, but...

Solid mesh helps with this (in my experience).

Universe pads are much deeper. I tried to measure difference between Be2 leather and suede and it seems to me its the same. Suede are more pillowy, so maybe it compress more on head.
