Hi guys, I'm looking at the older model of a u series but can't tell which model it is (um 20, 30 or 50) and the guy selling doesn't know either. I'm looking online and can't see any discernable features between them. Does anyone know how to tell?

It's unusual for gearbest to sell clones but of course the easiest way to tell will be to see them and try them out when they have arrived. Send some pictures and we can have a look. Mine came from gearbest a while back and they're genuine

They're definitely not fakes, I just had super paranoia as I got them privately for a good price. Thankyou jonoxon though! They sound very good and the Bluetooth is well done. They don't have as much of a bass boost as some people suggested they do. This ones definitely a keeper

I've had a question on my mind for a while. On my xiaomi phone it has an option to choose which headphones you're listening to and it optimises for it. When I choose that it's the piston 3 the clarity is boosted lots, what's it doing to 'optimise'? Is it all just balancing?

I love these little machines. Mine accidentally took a trip in the washing but despite that they're still going strong. The sound quality is astonishing for the price and paired with a xiaomi phone they really come alive. A fun listening experience, I can't wait to see what the next iteration...
