Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements
I own both the Stealth and Susvara and had a HE1000 v2 non stealth. The Stealth and Susvara are very different sounding. But I can’t agree with the HE1000 being better than the Susvara. With enough power behind the Susvara it can reach very deep and has plenty of bass when called for. I also...- JLoud

Audeze LCD-4
The very TOTL stuff is really only intended for a very small market. For some people 10k isn't a lot of money. But far more mid and entry level stuff comes out every year as opposed to TOTL. Overall the quality options have exploded in number compared to 10 years ago even. I think it is a great...- JLoud

I vote for marks around volume knob. Only first letter capitals. Larger font for switches. I want it to match my Blue Hawaii.- JLoud

Stax SR-X9000
All depends on the type of music you listen to. The roll off might not matter much at all. Or if electronic, modern pop or similiar is in your listening rotation it could be a deal breaker. But that is why I keep multiple headphones for different music.- JLoud

The 007 and CRBN have the most rumble for estats that I have owned. Supposedly the DCA Corina has nice slam, but I haven’t heard it personally.- JLoud

Audeze CRBN Interview, Review, Measurements
I had one of the first sets, and it definitely had the issue. However, I emailed Audeze about it and they quickly responded. I was sent a new pair, which I have had for almost two years. Zero problems and I use them frequently. I have owned about a dozen Audeze headphones, basically everything...- JLoud

I do use the Roon EQ. I rather like them. Of course sound preference is just that, a personal preference. So your opinion is valid for you. I'll let others decide for themselves. Easy enough to try and toggle on and off.- JLoud

Introducing the CORINA Electrostatic Reference Headphone
Certainly not run of the mill. I demoed several amps before deciding on the HeadAmp BHSE. Also it was recommended by several manufactures of electrostats. I have been very happy with my purchase for sure.- JLoud

Audeze LCD-4
I have tried and owned many expensive cables. Norne makes beautiful cables. I’ve bought probably 5 or 6. Usually the all silver. Expensive but very well made and durable. Even bought the Superconductor cable for my Abyss 1266 Tc. Cables make about a 2-3% difference in sound. In my opinion. If...- JLoud

Comment by 'JLoud' on listing 'Audeze CRBN'
I will second the opinion that these are fantastic. I had a first batch pair that did stick fairly often. Very annoying. The were replaced under warranty and the new pair has never stuck yet. Going on a year with no issues. Great price too.- JLoud

HiFiMan Susvara
For around 1k I would consider a used Schiit Ragnarok 2. It is what I’m currently using with my Susvara. However the WA33 was my favorite. The Ragnarok is a speaker amp that puts full power to the XLR headphone jack. Plenty of power and dead silent even with more sensitive headphones.- JLoud
