I use A4s with balanced Fidue Cable on Astell AK70 , perfect match. ( Black + Black now ). When I compare they are not as "easy" as previous LZ A3 , but deeper bass and more details.

Same for me Samsung Evo 256 , newly full (>240Go of HD files) plus internal memory 40Go of music = 280Go total , and totally trouble free. :-)))

What kind of Brainwavz are yours ? I have got the basic pleather one, and to me there is absolutely no difference in sound vs original pads, just much more comfortable.

IMHO I don't think such pre-ordering is a good thing when dealing with headphones. You need weeks and may be months to make sure about the product quality and durability. I did myself the mistake with the Audeze Sine. Ordering it "early bird" I had it without the cipher cable , and I paid it...

Pads are Brainwavz Angled , published  the details earlier in this thread (which is now becoming humongous) tried (too) many others , could not find a better fit.

+1 excellent and cheap cable I prefer these over original audeze stock cables, those are better quality , longer and more flexible as well. Sine+ Brainwawz angled pads+neomusicia cable= my final choice for Sine.  

I am so happy of my AK70, my best mobile companion. I use it stand alone with LZ A4 earphones or with external dac/amps with AUDEZE Sine. I am used to AudioNote tube sound (my hifi setup) and i consider AK70 as a real big success. I strongly advise anyone about to purchase a DAP to check this...

Mr Speakers new AEON has just been announced : must be a SINE killer . Can't wait for this new closed planar headphone . All bigger brothers at Mr Speakers are way better than Audezes...

To my knowledge, nothing has been solved . ASTELL & KERN is NOT demonstrating his willingness for excellence.  I am happy not to have spent too much money here.

LZ A4 plus Fidue 2,5mm balanded cable ... Perfect match and best price.

My favorite cocktail is Red back and Green front.   Great sound on my A&K 70 though balanced output with 2,5mm Fidue cable. Dead silent, strong dynamics, detailed harmonics and great soundstage.   Just listening to Rogers Water's Amused to death High res files 24/192 . P E R F E C T .

The Euphoria seems better made and bigger than the Elise , But still only one input , now the box is larger they could have added a couple more inputs thus making it an interesting preamp.

No problem with my AK70 working fine though (one) wifi Apple airport . I suggest you try to reinitialize your AK70 factory setting then re-enter your wifi password.  

Overall I am experiencing the same as you report her. So agreeing fully to you ratings . Just one question as I am also not happy with the ear tips ( using earsonics bi-flange right now)  what are the white ear tips you are using ?   Thanks for your detailed review.

AK70 balanced 2.5mm output is working great. dead silent even with efficient Iem's. Worth to benefit from this advantage. Think balanced Cable.

Should AUDEZE offer me a refund I'd return them right away. NO REGRET.

try IEM... those little A4 cost nothing and are better than Sine !  This is ...If you can stand IEM sensations within you ears.   .

Bass on my A4 are better than on my Audeze Sine. Just listening right now Shelby Lynne singing "The look of Love" straight out of AK70 , balanced output, no dac no amp...  This IEM is truly a reference. Way better than A3 and A2S which I also own.

As a work headphone... that"s exactly what I do, and in order to use Sine at work I had to buy an external Dac Amp to plug to my MacBook AIr. I choosed Burson Conductor AIr, it perfectly matches Audeze Sine. Cipher cable is useless unless you want to phone with the Sine which I do not...
