Fiio amps?
I also have the E3. My observation is that it mates well with most earphones and not all IEMs. I have tried it with Apple earphones, Iriver/Sennheiser MX400, and Sony PSP earphones. With these, there is a pleasant boost in the bass region and makes those earphones shine. They sounded like big...- minusflo

Kanon MD-52 IEM Perfect for Sony A800 series
I recently bought these Kanon MD-52 IEM at Ebay (Cycloney store) for $15. I found these through reading on a different forum about these relatively cheap earphones sounding amazing on Meizu and Teclast players. Since I already have a Sony A816 and mind you the bundled IEM earphones on this...- minusflo

Sell Zen to get an A818?
Please give us a review of the A728 after you have listened to them for a while. I have both the S616 and A816 and the sound signature of A816 is warmer and clearer on the mids based on my Sennheiser HD-497. The soundstage is mindblowing with the surround settings off. Thanks. Minusflo- minusflo

Cloverfield - Discussion Thread.
I experienced the same motion sickness just 15 minutes through the film. I was not able to finish it. They should ahve done a pre-test or something because the movie would have been a safety hazard. It took me at least an hour of staying at a nearby restaurant to get my bearings before I...- minusflo

A fairly specific question about the best audio quality music player.
Another vote for Sony. I have the Sony NWZ-A816 and the sound is incredible and well balanced. It also has a lot of sound altering features like a customizable equalizer and surround settings to suit your taste. One thing that impressed me as well is that it complements Sennheiser's sound...- minusflo

Bought PK1 from Head Direct should I be worried ?
I do not believe the reasoning I have read here. I have also tried buying the PK2 but after not receiving it for 3 weeks I just cancelled. How the business was conducted is not very professional, in my opinion. Even if you are selling the best gadgets if your shipping and delivery sucks, your...- minusflo

What MP3 Player should I try next?
Try Sony NWZ-A818. The included earbuds are very good. It is also a perfect match to any Sennheiser headphones. My Sennhesier HD-497 is really fun to listen to with this Sony DAP. Minusflo- minusflo

Sony cans: MDR V6 vs MDR V600
I find it hard to believe the bashing on MDR-V600 in this forum. I own it and IT IS NOT BAD. It is even better than Sennheiser HD-555. You can make it very musical by matching it with a headphone amplifier. I am not an audiophile with all those expensive gear but with these combination that I...- minusflo

Low Capacity Flash Recommendation
Try Iriver T30. It is available at NewEgg for less than $100 for 1 gig model. Sound is amazing once you upgrade the SRS Wow to version 2.0. Earphones included are superior to others. You will not be disappointed.- minusflo

muvo v100 or iriver t10?
I do not have T10 but I have T30 and the sound is amazing. I had Creative Muvo TX before which looks completely similar to MV100 and the sound is good but way below the league of T30. Make sure you update the firmware to the latest one. For T30, the 1.71 Firmware updated the SRS WOW to 2.0 and...- minusflo

BEST SOUNDING DAP..........
I am another Sony follower since their Walkman series in the 80s. I wish they would bring back the simple treble and bass SQ adjustment to their DAP in the same way they had it in their wonderful sounding Minidisc players back in the 90s. My Sony Minidisc player is still the perfect match to my...- minusflo

Dual Core MP3/MP4 players (Teclast T29), any good?
I saw on Ebay an MP4 player called Teclast T29 with dual core (Telechips + Wolfson DAC). I wonder if anybody here owns it. Is the sound really good? Technology seems fascinating, separate decoder and DAC chips. I am tempted to buy one. Appreciate any comments.- minusflo

Sony XD 400 vs SR60 vs K81DJ vs Sony V700DJ vs Sony MDR-SA1000
My Yamaha sounded a lot better with a headphone amp. I use Zero Audiocraft CMOY amp which you can get thru Ebay. You can appreciate the sound of Yamaha rh-5ma if you use a headphone amp because the bass will tighten up and the mid-range and treble will sound cleaner and not too bright. Also the...- minusflo

Sony XD 400 vs SR60 vs K81DJ vs Sony V700DJ vs Sony MDR-SA1000
Look for Yamaha rh-5ma at Amazon or Musician's friend. It is within your budget and sounds as amazing or better than Sony v6 (amped).- minusflo

Does this look normal to you?
It looked like a chemical stain such as an alkali/basic solution attacking the aluminum alloy surface and oxidizing it. Aluminum alloys are very prone to attacks from basic solutions and even your household detergents may, at times, IMO, be strong enough to cause white oxidation stains on...- minusflo

Ever consider Portable DVD players like Toshiba?
I am just curious if anybody uses a portable DVD player to play their regular CD or MP3 burned CDs. I have the Toshiba SD-P1850 portable DVD player and I am very pleased with the sound quality.
