FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
I really really love my Ei.xx, they are punchy and soft, I have never troubles with any sibiliance. But I always have to use the Android BassBoost with ~50% on my Pocophone, or EQ up the Bass on the Fiio Btr3. I dont know what else to say, I liked the TRN v90, but too less bass, I disliked the...- teecee5

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
Really thinking about getting the S8F, S6 Rui or Empire Ears Bravado or Campfire Audio Polaris II. After reading most of the thread and reviews, I am quite unsure. The S6 Rui seems to have better punch, but the S8F is better overall? How does midbass compare, how is the subbass in relation to...- teecee5

IMR R2 Aten Thread
Im quite surprised that the FH7 has "comparable" bass ? Tried the FH5 some time ago and they wasnt that "bassheady", maybe I have to try the FH7! With my Ei.xx for example the individual bass kicks are more standing out, and the treble is softer to my ears. Yes, sibiliance comes from (bad?)...- teecee5

about the sibiliance and sharpness: Sub Focus - Out The Blue in the Intro (until 0.44) every S she sings is very sharp and too pronounced, hurts a bit i_o - warehouse use only just anywhere in the song, the hihat(s) are also very sharp in the ear, too pronounced And about the bass...- teecee5

just use any electronic (or maybe even analog) track, which has a bassline and a kick at the same time. I cant really recommend or keep the Z2 Aten, when my Custom Art Ei.xx perform better in every regard. Yes, the Ei.xx is more expensive, but keep one IEM thats worse than another. Would be...- teecee5

I have tried Spiral Dot, Spinfit aswell as the supplied ones. Overall I had a worse experience with getting the right seal than with other IEMs, but I got the right fit and seal with the supplied foam tips. Black, Gold and Red Bass filter with black, blue, red, gold treble filter. I have tried...- teecee5

IMR R2 Aten Thread
I spend some time with my R2 Atens after some burn in. And I must say, I am quite disappointed. Tried many Filter combos, and yes, I agree that they give a subwoofer like feeling, but its not a very precise one. I cant really separate all the single Basskicks, or even really hear/feel them...- teecee5

I bought the R2 also! Sadly too late for the RAH Party.. Have the Campfire Audio Vega second hand on the way too, but maybe the R2 are better (value) And if Bob makes CIEM, wow.. that might be my Endgame. I love my CustomArt Ei.XX CIEMs, but they could need maybe a tiny bit more bass, so I...- teecee5

read again about the queen and no.3, and never really read that the queen is sibiliant, but the queen has more bass, and seems like the shell will have a better fit for me. So I dont think that the no.3 would be a better buy than the queen (?) Im excited how the TFZ Queen, TRN V90, TRN H2 and...- teecee5

Oh nice recommendation! But are the tfz that bright? I mean, sibiliant bright? Im quite sensitive to sibiliants After some research I also stumbled over the trn v80 and saw the new v90. Hey folks, im thinking about getting the Queen or the No.3 , but cant decide. Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
Tried it, but it doesnt really help. I dont have any local files, I only listen through spotify. Also coming back to the Pocophone, connecting directly and plus bassboost its a nearly perfect sound. Using the BTR3 with the Pocophone and the exact same settings: nearly half the bass. This is...- teecee5

Ah okay will try it, but thats sad that the EMUI is limiting the output. Any other known workaround for the case I dont use the BTR3, but just a regular USB C to Audiojack cable? Rather prefer the campfire audio atlas- teecee5

Thats not helping. And the Pocophone without Bass boost arent extremely bassy. Hey folks, just stumpled across this thread, maybe you can help me out.
