Did not work either. Said the Hiby R3 is an unsupported USB device. So without a change in the Hiby software i can only play bluetooth audio on the car.- hornytoad

Maybe Hiby can fix their software to avoid this issue . It’s clear to me that the Hiby software is presenting itself as an Android device . at present I can only use Bluetooth audio with the R2 and R3- hornytoad

I'm sure I'm not the only one that cannot make a wired connection to my car. well there must be something in the HibybR2 and R3 software that is telling my car head unit it’s a android device The R3 actually went to enable Android auto screen before it failed to make a connection- hornytoad

Doesn’t work says unable to connect to android auto on the screen.Both the R2 and R3 II say same thing so it’s impossible to connect as neither are android devices .- hornytoad

It expects to see a digital to analog music transfer just like my phone does. My phone has a dac just like the Hiby does. It can play music , the Hiby cannot. My car does not have an aux jack .- hornytoad

Well I returned my xm5’s and bought the Technics. They sound better than the xm’5s . Now the gym test tomorrow . See if I get a lot of cutouts . I have AirPod pro 2 and never get any cutouts in the gym.- hornytoad
