    Questions about Grado RA-1 Amplifier

    Sound-wise only, is it worth a buy? I just want to use it with my Grado headphones (SR325is and HP-2). I already know it's made of cheap components, so just wondering about the sound only.

    Nothing much to say, it's my first player at this level so of course I am satisfied with it. Half points down for the gold plated buttons. Will be 5 points without the gold and 200 dollar cheaper.

    For the first few months every time I use my ears hurt because of the ear pads are really uncomfortable. But I still listen to them because they sound really good. I always listened to rock, edm, and pop music. These types of music perform very well with the Sr325is.

    So I have a pair of sr325 and hp2s. Currently I am using hifiman ef2a with mullard tubes as my amp. I am wondering if RA-1 is worth a buy. I do know that it's made of cheap components and has no internal design whatsoever. I just want to know if it can boost the sound quality of Grado...
