Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Go to developers option and you should be able to check APTX on your phone. My midrange A6+ phone didn't have it in the settings but going into the developer settings enabled me to use it. This is how you enable developer options...- Sylmar

Indeed they need to improve. I do have the S1D and although it's very nice in sound when you do get a good fit, it doesn't really help that they offer only one kind of tips that are really too small. They need to improve on the bluetooth connection, battery life and allowing bigger tips. I'm...- Sylmar

Just got the S1D recently and I enjoy it on my train trips. I just wish they would make the charging case to have more room for having bigger eartips. It's a bit weird that you can't use their own Starline tips on them.- Sylmar

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
I recognize these as Tiandirenhe DIY TD1 but I've seen it under different names. They are pretty good for the price, only could do with some more detail retrieval and tighter bass but for the price it is enjoyable. I really like their weight and the fact that they look far more expensive that...- Sylmar

[FiiO μBTR ] Bluetooth receiver,Qualcomm CSR8645 Bluetooth chip, independent local volume control,9 hour battery life(Refurbished μBTR Promo on FiiO AliExpress Official Store now)
Thanks for your reaction. I've tried that and it didn't help. It also won't connect to my tablet either. It can be found but the uBTR keeps blinking red and blue and the phone/tablet just give the 'cannot connect' warning. I do have another uBTR though and that connects perfectly. Edit: it...- Sylmar

[FiiO μBTR ] Bluetooth receiver,Qualcomm CSR8645 Bluetooth chip, independent local volume control,9 hour battery life(Refurbished μBTR Promo on FiiO AliExpress Official Store now)
I loved my uBTR but since yesterday it won't connect anymore. It just flashes quickly red and blue and although my phone and tablet can find it with Bluetooth it just won't connect. Also tried to reassign by simultaneously pressing both volume buttons but to no avail. Is there a way to hard...- Sylmar

I'm also having left/right imbalance problems as my left ear is slightly less compared to the right ear. This is why I used Cowons and Rockboxed music players where I can change the L/R balance. Lol "best sounding plastic piece of garbage out there" really fits the bill. I bought six of them few months back because they break so easily but they are still so cheap it's better to buy a few at the same time. I've immediately used gel superglue on the cable joints which are the weak points.- Sylmar

I'm having the same problems from time to time. Good thing when it really acts up and influences my hearing is that I don't have to wonder which IEM to use as they will all sound crap. :P- Sylmar

The same for me basically. I've had the VSD3 and really enjoyed them, even though they were somewhat uncomfortable because of sharpish ridges but they broke pretty quickly. Hopefully the newer ones have better build.- Sylmar

I only have the Tennmak Crazy Cello and although I quite used it a lot at the time I think that that the competition offers better IEM's nowadays. Just got the C10. Initial impressions are that it's very likeable without sibilance. The problem is that my right unit has driver flex when inserting it in my ear. Hopefully it won't damage the driver in the long run.- Sylmar
