AndrewOld makes a good point. If adding an MScaler to Dave makes part of Dave redundant, make it possible to get a Dave without those redundant parts. It's like adding a power amp to an integrated when what you really wanted was a pre/power combination.

Despite what it says in the Qutest manual, Chord do not guarantee that optical toslink will work at 24bit 192kHz. The correct spec is on the Chord website as 24bit 96kHz. This was confirmed to me by Chord themselves.
