GRADO PS2000e MINI REVIEW........
I owned a pair of PS1000 old version and I don't like it. Even now I believe the "V" shape sound of PS1000 is its cons. However, I love GS2000e, and PS1000e. Just wondering how ps2000e deals with mid-range?- Restia

Denon AH-7200
I recently find my D7200 becomes a new headphone under rudiStor rpx38! Closer mid-ranger, deeper bass and more solid sound stage. Recommended.- Restia

Closed Headphones Advice?
I have no idea how much a new denon mm400 is in your area. At this price range, I only had MSR7. I cannot tell more about the other two, but I can say MSR7 had pretty awesome sound, solid design and good isolation. However, I still suggest you directly go to Denon MM400, which is my new toy...- Restia

Which headphones under $1500 have the most resolution / amount of details?
At this price range, I am for japanese headphones. Haven't tried Z1R, but both TH900 and se-master1 meet your requirement. If you are tired of dynamic headphones, try some stax, although they do not have as much bass as dynamic ones.- Restia

Ayre codex better than 2Qute?
A local dealer suggested me to trade in my chord 2qute dac for a ayre codex, which he said was better and more analog. I listened to codex then. It is a good dac+amp, but I cannot say it is better than 2qute... How do you think? Also, does anyone compare them with simaudio 230had?- Restia

Denon AH-7200
Tried while traveling to Montreal. Bought directly after that. Let me make a comparison. If D7100 is samsung note 7, then D7200 is s8. Denon has swapped out the haze of d7100. I personally do not like D7100 because it looses many attitude of Denon which showed on D7000. D7200 is a real successor...- Restia

Why are STAX headphones unwanted?
009 is the closest to Orpheus, not to the best sound. Actually, 009 is not that expensive. If you have 10K to spend on headphones, and you want to settle a matter on one go, then probably 009 set is the best choice. However, if you want some low imp dynamic headphones to perform at the same...- Restia

Grado Fan Club!
Can't agree more! Canadian grade price is unreasonable. That why I love Grady but finally buy focal and fostex. Gh2, in Toronto bay bloor radio, is $975 + tax... don't know why grade official sale doesn't' ever want to deliver to Canada but only Mexico and US. I haven't got a chance to try gh2...- Restia

Need some suggestions... Feel free to help!
I see. From the sets I have used, NAD C326BEE + PSB Imagine XB is the best for the cost. Some desktop speakers with small size are also worth to buy if you do not need large volume. They perform well in living room. I highly recommend eclipse td-m1. It's a bit pricy, but if you get a chance to...- Restia

Need some suggestions... Feel free to help!
Hi sc2, Since you like warm sound, I would consider you are not a guy perusing absolute HIFI, but pursuing absolute melody :P That's what I think of "warm". I don't know why you are selling your turntable, but considering your budget for dac, I would recommend you to keep your turntable. As...- Restia

If you are considering 2Qute as your only dac, I suggest stealth cable for upgrade and if you don't have enough buget, nsp2 is also a good choice.- Restia

Chord Electronics 2Qute DAC announced
2qute from my point of view does not emphasize on its ability to decode, though it is a very good dac. What I mean is that 2qute attacks me because of it neutral balanced three frequencies. It is true hifi for me. I personally love this comfortable sound.- Restia
