Got the P5 II for 90 Euros. Soundwise I am quite happy using this as my first pair of over-ears with the ablet pads. However, I would like to lessen the clamping as suggested in this thread. Can I overdo it? So far I have been using the box the headphones came in for about 2 hours.

I am sort of reluctant to go this route as I own the Shanling M2 and according to the spec sheet, it is supposed to work as a DAC for my phone, too. Haven't found a way of getting it to work properly. Granted, I haven't tried it with the Apple CCK.

Thank you for the information. Sorry if my questions appeared to be rash. I don't fully grasp how these converters work and could not find anything in that respect online. My guess was that they might be like HDMI cables which do not perform gradually better across the different price classes.

So, I just found something interesting: In the Windows 10 settings the M2 shown in the devices tab and it says "Driver error". When I connect the M2 to the PC the DAC screen appears for a second and then it just retuns to the default homescreen. Any ideas how to fix this?
