Hifiman Edition XS Launched
I wonder how XS would compare to HE1000 V2. HE1000 V2 is supposed to be smoother and more natural than HE1000se and HE1000 Stealth.- cfranchi

HE1000 V2 or HE1000 Stealth for vocals / classic rock
HE1000 V2 and HE1000 Stealth are now at the same price: for those who have listened to them, which one would you recommend for vocals and classic rock (Springsteen, Dire Straites, etc.) ? Apart of technical qualities, which one has the most unique and enjoyable sound ?- cfranchi

Hifiman HE1000-SE
From Headphonia review: « The Hifiman SE ($1.999 USD) was the first version with the 3.5mm headphone connectors and it basically combined the best of the V1 and V2, in an easier to drive package. The SE compared to the previous versions has an increased sensitivity of 96dB (was 90dB in the V2)...- cfranchi

How I Went from 'Disappointed with HD600' to 'HD600-liciously Happy!' 🎶
From Headfonia review: « The Sennheiser HD800S and Mojo 2 combo is excellent. I didn’t expect it to sound this remarkable but I could listen to this all day long. Clarity, precision, excellent PRaT, a good amount of overall body, nice bass impact and all that with a musical presentations. My...- cfranchi

How I Went from 'Disappointed with HD600' to 'HD600-liciously Happy!' 🎶
See those videos before going the rabbit hole: My guess is that you want something more spicey and holographic sounding than HD600 (even if HD600 is not bad at imaging) : Hifiman Sundara would meet your requirements.- cfranchi

mojo vs mojo 2, legit way for me to test these 2 out?
Crossfeed max doesn’t really enlarge the soundstage but give a more solid imaging and then provide a bit more immersive / « holographic » sound (from my experience). With my Fidelio X2 I don’t really hear some differences, with Sundara and Clear OG then crossfeed max was noticeable. I’m...- cfranchi

mojo vs mojo 2, legit way for me to test these 2 out?
For me Mojo 2 is better technically than Mojo, more neutral / natural. Crossfeed is also a nice feature (I use it at max settings). I bet Mojo 2 will pair better with your Elear than Mojo.- cfranchi

« Best » closed back headphone under 500 Eur
After reading and reading reviews I have ordered 2 not expensive (140 EUR each) closed back headphones : the AKG K371 and Shure SHR840a. Very well praised by Crinacle, Resolve, Joshua, etc. Those headphones are tuned more or less Harman target, I’m currently listening AKG371 : what I ear for...- cfranchi

Cayin RU7: 1-Bit Resistor Network Dongle DAC /Amp
Does RU7 able to drive a dynamic driver headphone like AKG K371 (32 ohm, 99 db/mw) ? I mean dynamic driver like voltage and I wonder if RU7 would fully exploit K371 (which is supposed to be easy to drive). Note: I will use iPhone and 3.5mm RU7 output.- cfranchi
