Wow the detail the m5 provides is amazing. Going from the c5dac to this is a huge difference for the better! It's driving my Alpha dogs on high gain around 100-112 for "loud" listening. Which is pretty impressive actually, as the planers are a hard can to drive!

I am not able to get Shanlings portable section to load up either... at the moment I am not able to get my computer to recognize the m5 as a Dac. I switched to dac in the settings, still doesnt recognize it.

On paper it is less power. However from what I've read from other users and from my own experience(very little) , the amp/dac is under rated for power. I can plug in my apple ear buds and I am only able to bring the power on low gain setting to 3 max. I have tried it on my brothers sennheisers...

I got my c5 dac a couple weeks ago. This thing is amazing. I am only comfortable bringing the power up to 4 with my Mr. Speakers Alpha dogs.

To charge the cayin c5 dac, it's the power in on the far right of the back? I am getting confused as the middle one says dac-aux/chrg. Thanks. Instructions are in Chinese so there no help to me. Thanks in advance.
