I would say bass, lots of it but it doesn't impact the other frequencies too much. However it lacks detail and sparkle, but that's to be expected given the price.

Just got my Juzear clear after a recommendation in this thread. Colour me impressed, they punch way over their price point. If they can tone down the bass it'll be a giant killer for sure, got me wondering what the others are like.

Yeah had it happen with Poweramp, despite the volume cap it went straight to 100 so now I'm very careful when first playing.

Yeah I've noticed that it was better with just a few hours burn in, first thing I do with any device. With all the settings, I think it'll take me a while to figure out how I like it.

I assume you checked for software updates, not just the device firmware but any other software on it. Mine was very finicky until every single little bit was up to date.

Exactly the same with mine, a jiggle would bring it back but now it's totally dead on one side. Clearly a defect of some kind, now it's affecting a few of us.

So what's the latest on iem's? I have the Trn V90 but have lost one of them, so looking for a good iem with a similar of not better sound and uses an mmcx convector. A wide soundstage would be nice.

Does using a balanced cable improve these much?

Aliexpress, they have a clip on woollen headband.

Yeah I'm in a similar position as I too find them fatiguing. Got my 1840's on and right away I'm smitten, detailed and smooth with a great soundstage. However the headband needs improvement.

They are certainly sharp, I've modded mine to tame those highs, but they need soldering as the sound has gone from one speaker. I wanted a more spatial headphone, that allows me to pick out detail without fatiguing me. Sure the Ultrasone's are fun, but detailed they are not.

Well more laid back than what I'm used to. I've always wanted the HD660, but saw the reviews on these and had to get them. I have iems, and cans that are fun but nothing mature for say classical or jazz, guess that means I'm getting older.

Just bought the 1840's is there anything to expect? My closed cans are Ultrasone Pro 900, should make for an interesting contrast as I wanted a more laid back and mature headphone.

Has anyone had the sound cut out on one earpiece? I think the board where the cable goes in has a loose or broken solder. Anyone good in the Uk for repairing these?
