Cool. A closer manufacturing date then can tell whether we got a b-stock or a new pair Mine was a date written using a pen, i thought it is the inspection date - when they packed the headphones

BTW, what is the ideal gain setting for LCD-2Fs - low or medium?  

if you have the money, why not upgrade.  hope they give you a new LCD-X and not a b-stock?

My Deckard drives LCD-2F in low gain and pretty loud in medium gain.  Did not (want to) try high gain!

Wow, that is impressive. Do you know whether the rosewoods have the drivers from 2015 or 2016? How about folks who got bamboo? Did you call Audeze to learn about the driver versions?

What type of LCD2 did you receive?

  They said that they will be working over the weekend as well.  So, it is worth to be little more patient if you can.  I ordered on 11/24 noon and mine was shipped out y'day night with delivery due on Tuesday.
