This show was my first time listening to Ultimate Ears and I thought the UE Premier sounded incredible. I was skeptical about the high driver count and huge shells, but I thought they were the best sounding IEMs at the show, I enjoyed them more than the Tia Fourté, Odin or VE Aura.

Could be subjective but I prefer how the CS43198 in the SR15 sounds than the ES9018K2M (DP-X1A). I would go for the SR15.

Is there a way to go back to where you were in the album menu without using the floating back button (as opposed to swiping left and starting from the top of the albums again)? Also the floating back button doesn't always seem to respond when I press it.

A&K already confirmed that they don't change the sound signature with firmware updates. So yes, nobody hears the changes because there aren't any.

That's the reason I don't understand why people are so concerned if the M sounds better, the SP1000 is still a great sounding player and nothing will change that. Whatever you buy there's always going to be something that is newer and better.
